they give you a 30 day cancelation policy, so you can try it out and if it doesn't work for you, just walk away.. i think it's worth the time invested.
i'm in the detroit burbs too and my coverage is silightly worse than my previous tdma coverage. (it seems to fade in and out, i don't know if it's my phone or coverage.. i get 4 bars, then 2, then 1, back up etc..)
t-mobile coverage sucks where i am.. there was actually a t-mobile store in the strip mall that i work at, and they get no coverage, needless to say, they went out of business real quick 😀 so it really depends on where you are and where the pockets are. i'd spring for verizon but it costs too much, both phone and their plans.. 🙁
