There was a recent post with this case from BB but the price was $68.

I went to my local (SoCal) Best Buy and found a couple stashed up on top of a really high shelf. I had them check the price and it came up at $54.99. Good deal! They had the SX835 (non-II Performance Series) priced at $67.99. WTF?

thanks very, very much for the heads up--i was just looking for this exact case.

edit: newegg sells it for $80. I'll be at my local houston area BB tomorrow morning to check it out and i'll post results.

Sorry for the double post. Hit return too soon. I got this at the Palm Desert BB. As I said, they did have a couple of the regular SX835's on the shelf with "clearance" tags priced at $67.99. I just happened to see the II versions way up high and had them check the price. Good luck getting in on this deal.

wait a minute the old 835 and new 835 II has the same UPC, I know cause I bought one last week for $68 at Southlake, GA.

BB near me on east coast has it for $80.99. Strange because the shelf tag says $99. Also, I checked two other BB's and one didn't have it...the other had it for $99 (rang up as that).

I think it must have something to do with how long a store has had them for and how many they have...

Picked up a SX835II at the Austin BestBuy (Gateway location) for $54.99.

I was there picking up something else, noticed the case on the clearance shelf and remembered this thread. This was the last one on the shelf. It's always good to pick up something you really don't need but can't pass up...

picked up two of the SX-835II's at BB today for $54.99 each

Houston, BB at I-10 & Bunker Hill...didn't see any left on the shelf although they had a few of the series 1's...didn't check to see how much they were

(on the shelf the SX-835II's were marked as $89.99...had the guy scan it and when it came up as $54.99 he said "hey that's a great deal" as i loaded the last 2 into my shopping cart)

great deal on the antec case....PSU was 350W with 220 on the rail...really nice!!! Two cases left at the BB on Gessner and 59 in Houston...better get there before I'm out the door to get another...thanx for the tip on this case y'all....

There were 4 of these cases at the Best Buy in Pentagon City, Arlington VA. I got one for myself in the Manassas Best Buy but don't know if they had more.

I scored one at the Best Buy at Pentagon City for 54.99 plus tax. Looks like there are two left at this location.
