Picked up the last SX835II at the Best Buy on Pleasant Hill in Duluth, GA. There was 1 "regular" SX835 there that the salesdude offered to me for $49 because it was an open box. I passed. Oh yeah, the price on the II was $54.99.

There are none in Willmington DE. I checked both the shops. Rt 2 shop still has 88.xx price with one case rermaining. Rt 202 shop has no cases but price is 54.xx.

I've been to a few BB's in the MA/RI area and they all had the case for $80+. I think this deal is not happening in the NorthEast...

NAH, I'm in NJ and it worked. Just have them scan it and complain that your buddy in NJ got this case for $54.99 at the Woodbridge NJ Store...

Just picked one up in Selma, TX. $54.99, baby! What a deal on a really nice case.

The only differences b/t this, and the bigger SOHO case (1040) are:

1. Only one removeable drive cage. I'll miss that a little.
2. No lockable panel covering the power/reset buttons/drives. I'll miss that a little too.

I'm actually converting one of my 1040s to a domain controller and this 835 will house my gaming rig.

This case is frickin' SWEET! It's got a removeable/washable air filter; it slides/clicks in from the underside of the front cover. SCHAWEEET!

One little bummer; I thought this had the TRUPOWER PS with the regulated case fan outs; it doesn't. It has the older "smartpower" which means screaming case fans. Oh well. It's still a 350W Antec PS which means it'll handle pretty much anything you throw at it.

Just got back from Best Buy with the case. Not happy, though.

First off, I tried to get the employee to take off the 10% for clearance items, they said they don't do that. Second, I take it home, open it up, and find out the little release hatches on the front of the 5.25" bays won't open up (the left one doesn't, right one pops off). Third, I log on here and realize the deal price is $55...I paid $65, totally forgetting that it's supposed to be $55!

Did you try releasing the 5.25 hatch with the side panel removed?

INteresting. On mine, the front panel (top part that covers all the drive bays) wouldn't come off unless the side panel was removed. Other than that, it's 100% good to go. I love that removable filter!

I got one for $54.99 in Kingston MA. 2 hours later I went to No Dartmouth MA and they had it there for $99.99. I had to go through 3 people before they would pricematch the other store.

Thanks to the OP for sharing this deal with us! $55 is a great price. Not only is Newegg selling it for $80, they are charging $18 shipping as well. If you think about it, the power supply is worth the $55 price alone. I checked the W. Little Rock store yesterday and they had about 8 of them left. The shelf tag even said, "clearance, $54.99". I didn't pick one up but I may do so today on second thought.
