I needed speakers for my 2nd computer with the tv tuner card...SWEEEEEEEEET...i love checking anandtech dead late at nite!
 
The reviews I've read so far are fairly old...but they all seemed to like it at the time!

Nice remote, but non-THX (like I really notice) and no headphone jack. That's one of the biggest hangups for me about these speakers....well...that and the fact that they are UGLY!

But at that price, I'll eat my hat.
 
i'm assuming dell doesn't have up to date stock, huh?
how many in refurb could you have of these things?

I just ordered another set for my dad. Damn now thats 2 sets of speakers 2 nics all on my credit card and I don't even have a job. I'm so screwed.


edit: I guess I'll be hooking these bad boys up to my PS2.
 
Dang, I couldn't get the 15%off or the free shipping, maybe if I try to contact them now that I've ordered? I even tried links through different sites through small business and still no workie 🙁
 
I was one of the first ppl who placed an order, so I should get them, unless some lurking egayer ordered 100 of them. You're right though, I'm pretty sure Dell wouldn't have too many of those, maybe 20 or 30 items at most.
 
Just ordered a pair, I couldnt get the 15% or free shipping either. Weird. Oh well 32 bucks shipped is still a great deal if these come through. My friend got these with his dell comp and they sound sweet. Maybe not klipsh but plenty good for me. Thanks for the post.
 
thanks ngupt02...i don't even need any new speakers, but i ordered 2 sets anyway. man..i need to stay away from these forums.
 
I made two seperate orders, decided five minutes later that I wanted another set, and I have the second email for both of the orders. They are both to be delivered on Dec 21.
 
I just ordered a set and don't need them either. I don't even have the speakers that came with my computer hooked up, what am I gonna do with these...
 
No email from Dell here...now I'm gettin worried...but delivery at Dec. 21? I wonder if Dell will ship these out early, just like they did with the Z-560s.
 
got my second email already. on or before the 21st as well. hope it goes out before that though. do they send you a tracking # or something if it goes out earlier? or the second email and wait? never ordered from them before.
