dell has altec lansing speakers ADA880 speakers for sale. Free shipping and 15% off gives u a ship price of $23.47. These are refurbished, but still great speakers for the money.
It comes out to $22.91 if you order from small business. This is one hell of a deal, $23 for a good Dolby Digital 4.1 system is unbelievably cheap, even though it is refurbished. At 80 watts RMS, they are nowhere near as powerful as the Z560s, but hey, for $23 you simply can't go wrong.
Actually, it looks like a pricing error. They must've meant $124 instead of $24. Those speakers sell for between $150 and $250 new, so I'm pretty sure it was a mistake, unless Dell really wants to get rid of them for some reason.
Anyways, if Dell actually ships those, those who are still trying to pay off the mortgage on their cardboard box will have Z560s well within their grasp. Buy those for $23, egay/sell them for $100 or so, add another $50, enjoy your $73 Z560s 🙂
Heh. Just wait till everybody wakes up. This thread's gonna get huge, especially if Dell starts playing their old "woops, we never got your order" game.
