Hehe 1st of all, advocating piracy is a no-no. And secondly, for people who are on dial-up it would be faster (mayeb even cheaper?) to just buy it. Even those who have broadband get cool stuff like the REAL GD-ROM and manual and a case and whatnot if they actually pay $2 FREAKING dollars and buy the games...

oLLie if you read my first post, you would've seen that I checked to see what their trade in value was at Funco. If they were giving decent prices for games I would've bought a bunch and traded them in for a gamecube or x-box, not that I want either one, but if I can get a system for ~$100 I sure as hell am going to do it! But at least I wouldn't be making money off other Anandtechers, I would've made money off Funco.

BTW, they were giving 50 cents for NBA 2K1 and NFL 2K1. Just trade in 400 copies of these games and you got yourself a gamecube! And it will only have cost you......umm, wait? $800?!

Negative at the San Jose Fry's.. I also asked them to call the Palo Alto store, according to the guy he talked to, there was no such deal like that going on.. Perhaps the representative was talking to the wrong person, but both stores rang up Virtua Tennis at $9.99

It's not a Hot deal if it's not a deal..
