:Q

Wow! Does anyone know if the Fry's in Austin has the $1.99 deals too? (I'd have to drive 30-40 minutes to it, so I'd rather not make a trip if I don't have to.)

If anyone scores on this and can grab an extra seaman and sword of the berserk and NFL2k2 for, I'd really appreciate it!

Went to the new Industry Frys. in CA. It?s < 5 miles away from me. Only had the sports 2k2 and 2k1 and a very few others. Thing is they were regularly priced ($29.99-39.99). So I went to the checkout to verify the prices. Sorry to say but they were at regular price. Don't know if this is store specific or region specific (Southern vs. Northern California).

2 sore thumbs up for Seaman and Crazy Taxi. Make sure Seaman has a microphone included, otherwise it is no good.

<< muhahah this is how you fight software piracy - make the games cheaper to buy than to download and burn 😀 >>

I would support such a tactic wholeheartedly! 🙂

JHeiderman - Sword of the Berzerk is a pretty cool game. I only played it for a few minutes - it almost seemed like more movie watching than actually playing. Still interesting nevertheless.

dimwit - wish I had paid more attention about the microphone on Seman, I'm missing mine. Unfortunately, I think I grabbed the last Seaman they had.

In any case, I guess I should try to return Seaman. If I end up down there today, I'll let you guys know if the sale is still going on.

Stopped by the Palo ALto Fry's, they're pretty much wiped out! You can still find Crazy Taxi, NFL 2K1, NBA 2K1, Shadowman, Tee-Off Golf, Virtua Tennis, and ESPN NBA.

I went in around 10:30am and saw a guy with about 100 games in his cart! But it didn't look like he had any good games either. I talked to the salesperson, she said the sale started on Saturday and that it was FOR THAT STORE ONLY.

If you're interested in any of the games above, they may still have some left, it looked like they had about 100 copies of each of the games listed above.

If you're looking to trade in these games to Funco, don't bother. I checked the prices and they're paying $0.50 a piece for NFL and NBA. I didn't bother checking the prices for the other games.

if someone picks up a few spares let me know I would be very interested. Ofcourse will pay shipping and throw in a couple of bucks.

Thanks

Fry's clearances are store by store. You can go to one store and they have something for $5 and at another store it's $10.

The San Diego Fry's had their DC games at regular price. Crazy Taxi and Vitua Tennis were $10 each, which isn't that bad.
