I consider MonoPrice the new Radio Shack. Awesome deals, good quality stuff. Their prices are as good as eBay plus the shipping rates are better :thumbsup:

I just did a 5 minute comparison to deepsurplus(my old favorite, I have ordered from them countless times. I am now a skiddles addict because of them🙂 ), and monoprice is lower across the board. If the shipping is not too harsh, they will get my next order.
Edit: deepsurplus does have cheaper wall plates and keystone jacks. mono has the better price on patch cables. I guess it will depend on the makeup of the order.

Speaking of bulk cabling, I get all my tools & connectors from Tech Tool Supply. He used to have an eBay store, not sure if he still does, but he's pretty helpful and now has a website:

I make all my own RCA cables (Composite, Component, Subwoofer, Coaxial Digital Audio, Stereo Audio) and RF cables (coaxial TV cables) now, awesome quality and saves me a ton of money when doing installs.
 
i thought this was good especially in the a/v cable area - hdmi, dvi, etc. i normally make my own cat5 cables, but from now on if i need to make more than 5 i will be ordering them if i have enough lead time as it would be much cheaper, especially if i can add in other a/v cables 🙂

i just recently switched to dvi for my lcd as the cost of the cables i could find locally were too high imo. for the $$$ i spent at monoprice i am happy, but with my lcd the difference between dvi and vga would not have been worth $20-$50 for a locally bought dvi cable. same with hdmi vs component on my hdtv, but again, going this route i am more than happy as i got a hdmi, dvi and a couple long p/s2 cables for less than even a cheap local hdmi or dvi cable.
 
Make sure any HDMI cable is certified for the resolution you want to use it with, many longer ones won't pass 1080p error free.
 
Ordered my IDE adapter card for the Dell 9200 from Monoprice a few days ago. Have ordered several times from them in the past and always had good results.

I was hoping to find prices on structured cable for a house I am building. Didn't see it there. Does anybody know any good sites for that? TIA.

The OP's link has structured cable. The deepsurplus link has it too, and a bit cheaper. I recently ran some of it, and it came spool-in-a-box, which is the best for easy pulling.
 
Green for you OP. I'd seen this place mentioned before but had no need for cables recently. Just went into Fry's today looking for a cable to connect my phone to the PC. This place is half the price, even including shipping and tax.

6 ft has few problems, 25 ft and many "good" cables are only rated for 1080i, very few are 1080p at 1920x1080.

Doing some searches right now, the word "certified" seems much less common, its back to if you have a problem, try another better cable or a shorter one. My guess is that once 1080p gets more common some cables are going to get replaced.

And service. There have been a few threads about monoprice on here and everyone always has good things to say about them. I've placed 2-3 orders and always gotten them right away. (good quality and cheap as dirt)

I wasn't sure which VGA and HDMI cables to order, I called monoprice and they told me which product ID to order. I ordered a bunch of cables and received them via USPS a few days later.

I like to think of Monoprice.com as the NewEgg.com of cables :thumbsup:
