Here in Seattle, I was going to order this drive. With shipping $5 and tax of $2, my final cost was about $27. But I stopped because I don't even have a USB 2.0 controller and I already have two internal CDRW drives.
I dont know if it is a typo, but i ordered 2, with 2 day delievery and it came to a little over 51 (with tax) and they already charged my card for it...
I just got one, but I think it's probably supposed to be $199.99. I think I got in early, so I hope I have a chance at this one. Ground shipping and tax to Seattle makes it $27.18. This will be interesting.
THANKS FOR THE TIP!
Got one for me and one for an x-mas present for my brother. GREAT DEAL!
EDIT:
Just recieved:

Such a deal!! I just ordered one to resell. Heck, I shoulda ordered two or three but am curious whether this will be honored in the end. Let's hope so. BTW, mine came to $26.44 with tax and shipping in CA.
This is a smoking deal! If you don't have a USB 2.0 port, you can buy a PCI/PCMCIA expansion card for around $40 with TigerDirect (anybody knows a better deal on those PCMCIA card?) It's finally time to get rid of my 4x2x16 burner from 4 years ago. Fancy I paid $300 for it back in the old days. This is a great great deal, and thanks for the heads up
By the way, don't get your hopes up too high. This is most likely a price mistake. We'll see on Monday.
