The man is saying that he's already tried it.

Haha, to be fair, the man did say that he hated to be sarcastic. 😛

Get some Spongebob episodes... i love watching that, it puts me in a relax mood and fall asleep quite quickly.

But obviously you are wacked out of your mind if you're watching Spongebob, so the sleep comes easily.

At least, I hope you're wacked out of your mind if you watch Spongebob. :Q

I believe you need to have a strict regimen in your life, for example, dinner at 8, some TV/surfing/reading/gaming for sometime until 10.30 or so and then right to bed!

Also try to schedule workout preferrably in morning for 3-4 days per week. Eat right (like carbs/proteins during the day and fruits/salads in night). Put your body on mental clock.

i went to my psychiatrist and got prescribed trazodone 50mg. it does wonders. go ask about it. its an antidepressant, but works excellent as a sleep aid as well

edit: oh and its non addicting, non habit forming, non tolerance. you could take it for as long as you need it. no harm

one pill is usulaly enough for me, sometimes i might need 2 pills, but no more

do NOT take any bullcrap like lunesta or ambien or any other lame-ass drug...

instead, take melatonin... it's a natural hormone produced by a gland in your brain that helps you fall asleep naturally. a lot of the time is that this gland is screwed up by stimuli throughout the day and doesn't produce enough melatonin to help you get sleepy when you need to.

you can buy it at the grocery store and it's cheap... they usually have sales on it.

however, if you don't like your body at all, by all means, go ahead and take tylonol pm, benadryl, lunesta, ambien, etc.

Go to a health food store and get a magnesium supplement (such as: magnesium ascorbate).
Take 500 mg. about 1/2 hour before bedtime.
Also, try and get your body accustomed to a regular sleeptime. Ideally, 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM,
so that 12:00 midnight is at the midpoint of an 8 hour sleep; & more attuned to the Earth's planetary rotational cycle.
Note: there were several BAD suggestions for using other toxic chemicals, which I would advise ignoring.
Especially, the "chloral hydrate" suggestion. Chlorine is a toxic poison...

I use to smoke pot to sleep, cut back in my older age though. Melatonin has worked great for me and I don?t feel drugged up in the morning. Here is where I buy it.
