Still? Get on it!

It's just never in my mind when meal planning, as it was never part of my diet, and I rarely eat overly-processed anything these days. It also must be in the grocery aisles that I never walk through.

Am I the only one here who has never had spam?
I'd never had spam until recently, though I'd grown up on things like Scrapple (Philly represent!), poofy processed white bread, Campbells tomato soup, and big yellow blocks of Velveeta. But a female friend of mine who loves Spam complained that she couldn't find it in any nearby stores, so I started picking it up for her.

As an adult, I'm just not generally drawn to eating things like meat in cans, but I did have some fried at her house at her eager insistence, and I must admit, it was surprisingly (to me) tasty! Though I still haven't been moved to stock it in my larder, I now well understand its appeal.

I like to eat mindfully and decently healthy. We boyz tend to treat our 'puters and cars to the best of care. Our bodies are far more central than those are, no?

I was a vegetarian for more than a decade. And I now tend to use meat more as a garnish or as one ingredient among many rather than as the consistently main entree.

But I'm not in favor of making a dour and exclusionist religion out of anything. While keeping salt and fat and sugar and mysteriously multisyllabic additives well in mind, "everything in moderation" is my diet mantra.

In conclusion, how has this not been posted yet?
