Can't say I blame her, she's under criminal investigation, she lost her boyfriend, her boyfriend was revealed to be a two-time wife beater, and she's got her boss/sugar daddy pressuring her to do whatever it takes to keep him out of jail.

She's an attractive young conservative woman with a communications background. I expect that she'll like her Fox News dressing room just fine. Especially after they removed Roger Ailes peepholes.

So when you were flirting with me you were not serious?
HEY! I'm VERY serious about joking around! I love to flirt, I do it right in front of my husband (he reads this forum). He's the most secure man I've ever known. I think that's why I have so little patience for insecure men. I never really had any but 19 years with a secure man has brought it down to nearly 0% patience with small men.

Now, are we sure I was flirting with you darling or just making fun of you? They can feel the same to persons of say... limited comprehension of how social interaction is done and perceived. *wink*

Cute story: My ex mother-in-law (from over 20 years ago) told me that no one ever says darling without actually meaning fu*k you. Of course I don't agree surely it only sometimes means that but she amused me with her certainty. It was probably the only time she ever amused me.

See I read darling as an F you too. Only because no one says it any more unless it's to be sarcastic. Maybe you're just old?

Sure. 47 is old to some. I use darling in all ways, it's kind of perfect in that way. But I use sweetums, pumpkin, bumpkin... Others as well I'm sure. I'm convinced most people catch my meaning/intention. Except you? If I were to call you darling you would interpret as me telling you I'm old.

Good talk!

lol No. Hell I'm not much younger. It's just not something you hear much any more. It's actually funny in a sad clown kind of way that things that would have been considered politeness once are now viewed as being tools of sarcasm and spite.

I blame the new math :(

*Shaking my fist* NEW MATH! Just kidding, I use new math how I see fit, it rarely involves numbers.

Because I take very few things seriously I often (probably very frequently) enjoy the word play game so if kind words can be tainted for my enjoyment I will play. One of my favorites (nod to The Office) is "That's what she/he said.". Spite, innuendo, sarcasm, dark humor... Fun stuff! I love words though I don't use a lot of them because swearing is so much fun and saying things simply has so many possibilities.

It'll be interesting to see how it goes for Miss Hicks over the next few months & years. Escape from the Trump reality distortion field can be traumatic, I suspect.

Fox is waiting. I won't say news.
