So can we all agree that red delicious apples are nasty and flavorless?

It depends. If you get them fresh off the tree, they're actually very good. The more they sit though the more they lose their flavor.

I really don't understand why people eat any apple other than granny smith anyway.

Some people like sweet apples. Its kinda like sour candy, I can never understand why anyone would eat sour candy (or sour apples)
