AT&T is a telecommunications company. They don't fix power lines. Your phone and your internet maybe, but not your power. Most likely they were upgrading to fiber or something like that. It was all about AT&T making more money. It had nothing to do with the power. The electric company is the only people that can work on power lines.

The video is pretty clear to me:
There are utility poles near what looks like a driveway
The trucks are set up to work on something on the poles
There is a worker in one of the buckets (the lift thing on the trucks)
There is a guy walking around the trucks shooting the tires(?) and maybe the glass

It does seem like he's saying "I don't condone what he did but I'm glad someone did it because those AT&T guys think they are above the law".

If it is legal to block his driveway he loses that argument.

Yeah I think ATT may have sent OP a big bill for something and he's pissed. Pure guess on my part
Hell even if I parked my car there for the purpose of pissing the guy off, he still wouldn't be justified shooting may car up or cutting it in half or anything else.
He could call a tow truck or better the Police, he could carefully push it out of the way in most places.

Tip: Anytime you see or hear the word "but" ignore whatever was said before it.

Firing your gun in public is very rarely justified so that is a given. Be a bit off and you'll hit the rim and have yourself a nice ricochet.

It's also completely counterproductive because shooting out the tires not only does not remove the car from the spot, it makes it a lot harder to move it and it will take longer until it's moved too.

I just watched the video and it looks like one guy is up in a lift that was hitched to the truck so they really couldn't move it until they were done.

Here is an example of maybe a misuse of a Firearm. However, some web sites didnt mention that the AT&T workers thought that it was their right to block the man's Driveway, which is also illegal.

Some articles just showed the man shooting up the trucks and left out that the blocked his driveway. This of course made the home owner look nuttier that he actually was. Some of these AT&T workers think they are above the law.
