Home Owner Mad

Here is an example of maybe a misuse of a Firearm. However, some web sites didnt mention that the AT&T workers thought that it was their right to block the man's Driveway, which is also illegal.

Some articles just showed the man shooting up the trucks and left out that the blocked his driveway. This of course made the home owner look nuttier that he actually was. Some of these AT&T workers think they are above the law.

"HIALEAH, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say a Florida man shot at two AT&T trucks because they were parked in front of his driveway."

I do not endorse using guns to solve problems.

It was obvious why he did it.

He's nuts. Disabled the vehicles in front of the driveway he's mad about being blocked.

You seem to feel that's ok, then throw a "I don't endorse using guns to solve problems" at the end.

Blocking his driveway is a legitimate reason to be mad. It is not a reason to use a firearm period.

I'm mad about the truck blocking my driveway.
I shall now disable the truck so that it cannot move.
I'm mad about the truck blocking my driveway,
Now I'm showing up on the evening news.
That damn truck is still blocking my driveway.
I shot it so now it can no longer move.
I'm mad about the truck blocking my driveway.

Call the police. BTW if he had to get out it looks like he could've gotten out. The problem here is that there are two driveways separated by a poll it looks like and working on the poll is going to require them to be blocked. Maybe the workers should of knocked on the door and informed the homeowner of the work.

And the real crime here is another freakin vertical video!

I had a guy call our help desk once from New Jersey saying he was going to shoot some of our workers inspecting a pipeline on his front lawn... 'Murica!

They were fixing a power line so if what you say is true then they were OK parking in front of his driveway.

Yes without going into a rabbit hole, if the telecom line that provides phone & internet service or the power line that it is attached to that provides power to the neighborhood and they need to block his driveway it's fine

That explains why they responded "we'll move when we're done" when he asked them to move.

He'll it's ok for them to trim branches or cut down tree's on his yard if they are endangering the lines. They (utility company) can even do it without notification

They could cut his driveway to lay a new line, this requires them patching after the work is done but people still get pissed.

So since it wasn't illegal for them to block his driveway he's now back to "even nuttier" (as per the OP) I suppose. 😀

AT&T is a telecommunications company. They don't fix power lines. Your phone and your internet maybe, but not your power. Most likely they were upgrading to fiber or something like that. It was all about AT&T making more money. It had nothing to do with the power. The electric company is the only people that can work on power lines.

Not in Western North Carolina. All I have seen is contractors working on the power lines.

Rabbit Hole
This is what I meant, there were workers working on a line. We don't know if it was fiber, copper or power.
There was an ATT truck
