I have a home network with a laptop, server, and my desktop. Whenever I'm downloading anything via BitTorrent, everything else just times out. My Firefox refuses to load anything, and the laptop downstairs can't surf the web either. I have a 4.5 megabit connection, so it definitely shouldn't be lagging like this. If I unplug both my cable modem and my router, it works fine again for about a day, and I have to do it again. This is extremely annoying, and I have no idea what's wrong. I'm using static IP configurations for all 3 computers. The laptop and my desktop are connected by 802.11g, and the server is on a wired 100 megabit connection. My wireless router is the Linksys WRT54G. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
