Holy crap new episode of House

Well that was depressing. Not sure if I really care so much about this stupid storyline again, but I haven't thought this season was that great so far anyways.
 
They were eventually gonna run out of lupus episodes, they had to add a good story to complement the usual it's not this, not that, could be this...OH NO! It's that...but wait! he puked, it's that! NO! IT'S THAT, oh ok.

Never gets old, imo though, House's character is well developed to where the repeated sarcasm never gets old because of the way it is applied. Probably the best episode in a WHILE though, i need to know how this is gonna end.

He obviously isn't gonna die :hmm:
 
Why does everyone think he might die? You don't overdose on two hydrocodone. If anything, the scene is just meant to show House relapsing and going back to his old ways.
 
am about 3 weeks behind on this show, i'll catch up this weekend in time for monday (assuming it is resolution to a cliffhanger)
 
I am really sad. Lousy writers. This House was the best. The whole show had new life, real freshness to it. That is rare for any tv series after 7 years. And they go back to the same storyline they dragged out for 4-5 years. It was a true joy to see a completely self-absorbed person trying to please someone. Masters who is as smart as House, with no ill will just brought some good things. What about the relationship between House and Rachel? Even Taub was starting grow into an interesting character and they just throw it all away for the druggy stuff again.

I don't think he'll go back down the vicodin path again
, even though he used it in the episode. His motivation for taking it was to remove the pain of possibly losing Cuddy from the cancer, not to eliminate his physical pain in his leg...as he stated, "It was just a one time thing." I'm betting that they'll probably end up back together, but something will happen to House that will cause him to feel pain again in the emotional sense (like what happened to him with his former wife when he lost his marriage and his leg muscle)

Didn't he
take more vicodin at the end of the episode, presumably to eliminate the emotional pain of...losing Cuddy? That pain isn't going away.
 
I'm watching it now via DVR.

WTF am I watching? I'm a big fan of House, but this just feels WAY too GIMMICKY.

Yeah he did, but I still think he did that because he figured that it was his only escape. The possibility of losing Cuddy made him only take it once as stated in the episode, but when he lost her completely (from the relationship) he had nowhere to go. Since the entire season was based off him being happy and being off the vicodin, it makes sense he'd use it as a crutch since he's now lost anything he's tried to care for...again.

That is the way I feel about this show. So many shows do this after a few seasons, keeps the viewer numbers up I guess.
 
House should definately kill himself... the show can still go on, only it'll be in the afterlife where he, Kutner and cut-throat bitch diagnoses and cures the undead.
 
I'm so sick of Taub, seriously. What a waste. What I wouldn't give to have Cameron back, or even 13, cut-throat bitch, or Kutner.

a little too much singing an dancing for my taste and a little tired of the vicodin story line but i'll keep watching 🙂
