Haven't watched this show in forever. Need to catch up.

They just ruined the show. Old regurgitated stuff. Masters is fresh and the House who is trying to change and they flip back to the same old story lines. Dumb

Next few episodes:
Taub 'accidentally' puts his hand on Foreman's leg while playing xbox. This instantly escalates to all out ass fucking followed by awkward moments at differentials. Oh and House & Cuddy are back together again then break up. Chase dies of the clap.

That's what I was thinking. I'm tired of the predictable, House can't act like an adult or the
let's go back to vicodin
story. Bogus and stupid.
 
Is it just me or have there been way too many OMG!!! Soap Opera must-watch something-horrible-is-gonna-happen episodes. Between Cuddy's mom and this last one I just don't care anymore. They are trying so hard to make us care, and it makes me numb. It reminds me of the one or 2 episodes I saw of Grey's Anatomy.

Totally agree. Plot progress has been at a snail's pace for these 7 seasons
and they eliminate all progress in one fell swoop.

I honestly don't know why I even watch House anymore. The show has gotten stale after the 3rd season, and they recycle the same shit over and over. Yet I still watch. :hmm:
 
I don't know how anyone can like Masters. Might possibly rival cut-throat bitch for my least liked character ever on the show.
 
Meh, the ending was just not believable to me. Since I've watched Dexter (desperately waiting for new episodes), I keep feeling like House is just a really inferior version of it. It's reasonably enjoyable but just pales in comparison (they share a similar feel to me---main character is damaged in some way, has real trouble being normal, etc.---except that Dexter is much more interesting).
 
When it ended last night I started thinking, why in the hell would they do that to the show.

After talking with my wife we came to the conclusion that they needed to make a drastic change. The past few weeks have really just been House dealing with inner issues relating to his relationship. By making this transition they not only pull the audience in more, but they also open up the show to go in a different direction.

I for one enjoyed where the show was, but in reality it would have gone stale after a few more weeks I'm sure. March 14th, I await your arrival!

I didn't even watch it because this entire season (and a fair amount of last season) have been pretty stale. I guess I'll have to catch next weeks.
