holy crap i found a HUGE bug on my wall

it has like freaking 20 legs and was 5-6 inches long including antennae. legs/body were kind of striped like a zebra anyone know what the heck it is? scared the crap out of me. sorry for the fuzzy picture. after i squashed it, all the legs were twitching like mad....*shudder*
 
holy cow, i saw that EXACT same bug last summer in Washington, i was sleeping and i woke up with it about a foot from my face, it scared the crap out of me. instead of killing it though i caught it in a bucket and threw it outside, it ran down the steps really fast, I was wondering what kind of bug it was too.

also later in the day i saw another one just like it but it was tiny , about the lenght of a dime or so
 
I found some of them crawling around my uncle's house (in northern VA). I think it is a Centipede. It is not an Earwig.
 
definitely a centipede, there are lots of them in the buildings in chicago. those things can boogy too! When you flatten them just about all their legs fall off, they are so fragile. Kill it!!

In Hawaii, all we have are geckos all over the place 🙂 (and the occasional mosquito that isn't eaten up) 🙂

In Trinidad, there are always geckos all over your walls, but mosquitoes too.

damn i had one of those give me a heart attack 2 weeks ago when i stumbled into my bathroom. As i sat on the throne, i saw it on the floor about 2 inches from my foot. never jumped so high nor ran so fast before in my life 😱
 
I found a couple several months ago, one crawling around the basement while I watched TV and the other one on my walls in my bedroom. I was freaked out 😱


another bug story: 2 weeks ago, I was working on my PC on the floor of the carpeted basement and I felt a pinch on my toe. I looked at it and saw a huge ass black bug with huge pinchers on its jaw. The bite didnt really hurt, it was just a mild pinch. I caught the thing in a plastic bag and was gonna take a picture of it but my dad found it and threw it away or threw it into the backyard.
