90% of them are bidders with 0 feedback who are probably just fvcking with people trying to score a huge profit. A few of them seem legit though.

It is pretty funny actually, I bet if it weren't for all these people buying them just to try and turn a profit on Ebay, there'd be plenty to go around for those that actually want one. Fight fire with fire.

I hope you get nailed, personally. 100% unethical. People know there's a market there, so they bought extras to sell, and you take it upon yourself to be a d!ck and put up fake bids? You might want to read the eBay TOS, because in doing so, you're actually breaking the law, bud. GG.

Go 5150! Screw the people price gouging. Im trying to find my little girl a pink Nintendo DS, and all the gougers have them listed well above MSRP.

I pity whoever falls for that. Asswipes just stand in line all to gouge it on ebay (for initial price) instead of someone actually wanting it getting it, good god. I hope they die in a fire. As for the bidders, they just deserve having to pay that much.

Yeah I'm really worried Ronin. Oh and typing "GG" at the end of a post went out of fashion about 5 years ago.

Umm no. Do you think those people waiting in line were buying 10 or 20? Nope. If you are crazy enough to wait in line then sell it for whatever you want (or what others are willing to pay).

"Fight fire with Fire" That is stupid. No one forces ANYONE to bid. If you have lots of money to burn and you would rather not camp in front of a best buy then what is the problem?

Bottom line: There is nothing wrong for people buying something to sell it! My brother waiting in front of a local target for 7 hours. (he isn't selling it btw)

When you make profit on reselling an item you should pay taxes.

Your comments are about as mature as your actions. Real impressive. What a child.

"Der..I bid on things I don't intend to pay for."

Truly an adult act right there, bud. I'm impressed.

You forgot the "GG" at the end of your post. ;) BTW I'm glad I impressed you.

My uncle sold his for $650 and it was used!!! He got it early today and played it, he decided he could wait and took the chance to make some money. Keep in mind he sold his very early probably explaining the amount of money he made. But wtv its still $250 right?

I completely agree with Ronin

Some of you people piss me off. It's not gouging. People aren't forced to bid for those Xbox's. It's a free market and the market will bear what it can bear, period.

As for you people bidding just to screw the seller, grow the fvck up.

I don't really agree with what you did, 5150...

1) It would appear as if you're HELPING them gouge... I'm not sure that I understand your plan fully. You do realize you drove the price higher?

2) Every day, I see something in FS/FT that looks unfair. There are stores out there that sell 6800Ultra 512MB's. However, I don't go around disrupting an honor system based on trust. Online trust is bad enough - I don't agree with anything that could make it worse.

3) You a very nice person, what with looking out for the rest of the world's wallet and all. How about you just pay me $3.50?

4) It's kind of weird that you decided to take time out of your day to create a phony ebay account and falsely bid on stuff... bored much?

5) I don't see what's wrong with abusing supply and demand... it's a capitalist society. If someone is dumb enough to pay $2000 for a video game console, well, how does that make you or me responsible for these people?

I really have no emotional stock in the matter, just giving an opinion.

How is this gouging? Most of these listings have starting bids around msrp, it's the bidders that make the price go up. 5150 Joker, you are an asshole. Your screwing the sellers and the people who want an xbox before christmas. It's not the seller's fault that people are dumb enough to bid 2000 dollars for these things. Gouging is where the seller choses to list an item at a rediculously high price, not where buyers choose to bid up to a high price. I'm reporting your to ebay.

Hey if I was outbid then more power to the seller! Go capitalism!

2) I feel that some of the deals in FS/FT are unfair all of the time. I see people selling 6800Ultra 512MB's all the time. I don't go around disrupting an honor system based on trust.

Not quite the same though. These forums are moderated and quite intolerant to price gougers. Just go look at some of the threads in FS/FT where some people tried gouging for a xbox 360.

4) It's kind of weird that you decided to take time out of your day to create a phony ebay account and falsely bid on stuff... bored much?

Actually yes, I am bored atm.

You should watch the language buddy, that sort of thing can get you banned around here.
