Oh yay, a list of white women with Halle Berry thrown in for tokenism. Where's the brown women at? Certainly the list could include some examples of fine Asian, Indian, Latino, and black women. For example, Aishwarya Rai belongs on any list of this type.

I think it's funny that all of these "multiracial" women you find very attractive, with the exception of maybe number 5, have distinctively "white" characteristics. The first two could pass for Italians. Are they supposed to be Indian? The asian looks like she's had plastic surgery to make her eyes more white. Beyonce has hair that rivals any white girl out there. And the last girl looks complete white with the exception of skin color. Some photoshopping brightness/hue could fix that easily

I think women of Hollywood the 1930s & 1940s where MUCH better looking in their prime than the women of today.

Audrey Hepburn is an image of pure beauty and innocence, whereas Julia Roberts looks like a cleaned up version of Mr. Ed.
That's just one actress.
Lily Collins looks as good as Audrey Hepburn.

:) One of my faves.

Mildly-related to OP's thought: I was watching Young Franken-Steen a few nights ago and struck by how attractive Teri Garr was back in the day. My go-to mental image of her is from Mr. Mom (not that she was bad-looking then) or as Phoebe's mom in Friends.

I thought the same thing when I watched that a few years ago, she was Really cute back in the day. I realized I have a friend that kind of looks like her.

I prefer today's celebs. They work out, for one thing. For another they are guaranteed to have perfect teeth.

it's all just nostalgia, all those old pics look like plastic, cake face with always the same hairstyle doesn't sound classy to me.

1-2. hell no, italians are nothing like that, trust me I see italians of all native ethnic backgrounds every day and they're nothing like that. The facial structure looks indian (wide face, the cheekbones etc.) and the skin is greenish. I doubt that any italian women with a face that large exist.
3. true but the lid is still asian
4. having a personal hairdresses might help with that
Last. I never see white women with those facial bones, not white to me

I think it's interesting that the arguments people have made for why current celebs are better looking than those from yesteryear have been mostly about body type, and not face.

1-2 ok maybe not italian, but they look a lot more like a hot white woman than this:

Indian_woman_smiles.jpg

4-5 beyonce is half black and half mix of everything, the other woman looks nothing like an american black woman. yes i'm stereotyping here, but i'm trying to get the point across that it seems that many whites only seem to find other ethnicities attractive when they exhibit basic white attractive qualities, with some sort of exotic flourish added in.* i feel this applies to every picture you posted.

*myself included, and that's not racist, its preference

Discuss.

Did you never watch any of those old films and notice the quality of the image blur a lot whenever there was a closeup on the star actress?

I've never actually seen that

Do you have a link to an example?

Grace Kelly is the only one that does the same to me. There was just something about her - not only her physical beauty, but her overall demeanor on the screen.

The women are
Aishwarya Rai, Anushka Sharma, Liu Yifei, Beyonce, Thandie Newton, and Iman respectively. The reason why the first two have "distinctively white" features is because they are Indian, who are racially classified as Caucasian (along with non-black Latinos). Anusha is more properly classified as Bollywood, it is true. I have no idea if Liu Yifei has "had her eyes done." As it was pointed out, Beyonce is half black, half creole (mix of black, french, native american, etc). Thandie Newton is half black Zimbabwean and half white Briton. Iman is Somali.

And you're right, I do find multiracial women attractive, since my daughter is among them. If you do want some darker skinned beautiful Hollywood actresses, I'm happy to oblige though:

They did this in school yearbooks even, as late as the 80's. Men are naturally more attractive and have better skin, so women need all the help they can get.

Do you mean stick their finger down their throat after every meal and have their teeth bleached? Sorry trying to work on my sarcasm detection, thing is out of adjustment
