Government Warning regarding purchase of UPS uniforms:

There has been a huge purchase, $32,000 worth, of United Parcel Service (UPS) uniforms on eBay over the last 30 days. This could represent a serious threat as bogus drivers (terrorists) can drop off anything to anyone with deadly consequences! If you have ANY questions when a UPS driver appears at your door they should be able to furnish VALID I.D.

Additionally, if someone in a UPS uniform comes to make a drop off or pick up, make absolutely sure they are driving a UPS truck. UPS doesn't make deliveries or pickups in anything, except a company vehicle. If you have a problem, call your local law enforcement agency right away!

TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY! Tell everyone in your office, your family, your friends, etc. Make people aware so that we can prepare and/or avoid terrorist attacks on our people! Thank you for your time in reviewing this and PLEASE send to EVERYONE on your list, even if they are friend or foe. We should all be aware!

Easy way to tell if the UPS driver delivering something to you is fake.
The box he or she will be carrying will be in pristine shape.
If you see someone dressed as a UPS driver carrying a pristine box, evacuate the area quickly.

LOL...i actually got a package today from UPS. My gf bought some stuff, but she did not tel me to wait for the package. I called asking if she ordered something and was joking about how I hope this is not a terrorist bomb.

Umm...why exactly would anyone be buying UPS uniforms off Ebay anyway? And exactly how many terrorists could you disguise with $32,000 worth of them?

Maybe UPS got a cheaper deal than their normal suppliers? or gotta ramp up the fear factor so u never forget the bad ole alqada turrists and rely more on good ole gubbmint

The bigger question is, why exactly would anyone be selling $32,000 worth of UPS uniforms on eBay... ?

Quick google search shows that these *exact* same details were pushed out in a "story" about a decade ago.

Also I would be suspicious of any UPS man who was around long enough to show an ID. He usually drops the package and is gone so fast it's all just a blur.
 
If a someone wanted to kill you, why wouldn't he just shoot you when you open the door? You don't need a UPS uniform for "terrorism oh noes!!1!"
 
So I checked out Nixle on wiki and they warn the article listed appears to be an advertisement.

So, I don't know if I trust Nixle.

I thought it was: if they actually stop and deliver your package, rather than speed past your house, you know they are fake.
