Amazon is $50 cheaper, but i dont know if i like the idea of a tv shipping all over the country....

Which would you do?

Circuit City has an awesome extended coverage warranty for 100 bucks on most items, so for 150 bucks more than Amazon you're covered for 3 years. You should look into it.

Buy local, shipping is a b!tch. Imagine if the TV was DOA, OMG that would set you back big time on shipping.😀

except it is not 100

50 " DLP extended warranty $600

it does cover bulbs however but still definitely not worth it to me

$119 for 3 years.

Im looking at a 30" Panasonic Widescreen HDTV

Does the warranty cover bulbs?

I looked over the verbiage and it specifically says NO consumables. Of course one could argue that you should not personally consume a metal halide bulb -- eating sushi is better way to reach your Hg quota. 😛

I'm wondering because my PJ has a bulb that costs $468. (best price found on PG) The extended warranty is $249 for four years...

Cheers!
