<< The fact is that, despite how much liberals like to try and fool the public by inferring that he's where he is because of Daddy, President-Elect George W. Bush is not a Junior. It is Bore who is a Junior. It is Bore who was groomed for the Presidency by Daddy from the day he was born. >>
If we are talking semantics, there is no such thing as President-Elect anyone at this point.
I'm not talking about Bore. In fact, I'm not really talking about Shrub either. I'm talking about the only Pres. Bush that ever was (as of today), and that's is Shrub's daddy. Anyways, to those following the thread, I'm just asking if the quote attributed to daddy is true: "I don't know that atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered patriots. This is one nation under God." I have my doubts, but would be interested either way.
And since you brought it up... Do I think Shrub is riding partially on daddy's coattails? Of course. Anybody would be naive to think that wasn't at least partially a factor in his success. Does that mean Bore is a purely self-made man? Of course not.
As for suitability for the job... I personally don't consider Bore to be honest and the fact that he is allowing his cronies to potentially pursue litigation in this context, if true, is shameful. However, I also think Shrub is too inexperienced to properly represent the US in the international scene. I don't claim to have better knowledge of foreign policy than he, but then again, I'm not running for leader of my country. But as I said, that wasn't what I was originally talking about.
