Well if you look carefully I think he's attempting to flip off the first car and then he gets his ass pwned for not using the crosswalk.

A lot of the SUV/Truck crowd can be seen swerving toward pedestrians all the time. I don't know what they are thinking but quite a few times around here they end up clipping someone with their mirror. When I am cutting my swale they pull this crap all the time. One day I am going to get one with my mower.

I bet that guy was a hobo or was dress like a hobo and people that didn't see it just dismissed it as a drunk bum.

That would be my first assumption. Hit and run? Not very common. Drunk guy sleeping on the street? Fairly common.

I chuckle at the idea of a jaywalker getting hit by a car, since I don't like jaywalkers. As a person who jaywalks all the time, I'm very upset at how it looks like that car tried to hit him. Hey that guy is jaywalking, let's steer the car toward him, hit him, then drive off like heatbags!

Still no one got this guy out of the street or blocked the road off around him.
If a guy has broken ribs and you move him, you could puncture his lungs and kill him. This is why you're never supposed to touch an injured person unless instructed to do so.
Pulling an accident victim out of a burning car could potentially cause further injuries as well, but it's better than letting him BBQ.

Guy unconscious in the middle of a busy street seems like a situation where it might be worth the risk to move him. Then again, if moving the guy caused him to be further injured, or even paralyzed or killed, it'd probably haunt me forever. One of the many reasons people are hesitant to involve themselves in emergency situations like this.

"Democrats hold a registration edge especially in the cities of Hartford"

I bet that city will overwhelmingly vote for Obama.

You really don't have to move them though.

It looks like a lot of people were paying attention to me. Personally I wouldn't even lay a hand on the guy.
I'm not certified for EMT work or any other medical practice. Not a chance in hell I would risk my ass to attempt at giving medical attention.
What the hell was the guy doing just sauntering out into traffic anyway?

Marshawn Lynch, a Buffalo Bills football player, is in the middle of a hit and run investigation here.
Hit and Run accidents have been getting a lot of attention in the past few weeks.

My mother witnessed a cyclist being hit by a car two days ago. The car didn't drive away and it was the cyclists fault.
She said that she was sort of in shock and really didn't know how to react, and she's a veteran nurse.
So I can see how watching someone get hit by a car can be shocking to the point where you kinda just sit and stare while you take it all in.

ummm, first impression : the two cars that hit em knew eachother, they took off down taht alley together, FAST.

also, the guy was crossing during a decent amount of cars passing by....dumbass jaywalking.
