Hey, I'm from New York, and I hate that carpetbagging b*tch! It's obvious to anyone with two brain cells to rub together that she doesn't give a rats a$$ about New York. She's just using this job as a stepping stone to the presidency!

Not everyone from NY is a pansy, liberal, fruitloop who was stupid enough to vote for her in the first place. Please give New Yorkers some credit!

That is sort of what is expressed in MA about Teddy K., but he wins anyway.

First woman who gets a nomination ( as long as it is somewhat deserved ) will get my vote. We need a woman to show us how it is done.

Sigh. That's the wrong way to elect someone. Why not go with the one having the best qualifications, highest ethical standards and a proven track record?

I think the nation could do much, much better than HRC.

Frankly the thought that Hillary might run scares me a little. There are so many people that have no idea how the government works and believe that it should be some huge Mommy and Daddy to them that she just might have a chance.

She would get the vote from some just for being the first women president even if she doesn't represent their views.
She would get the typical Democratic vote of more government "I can't take care of myself" people.
She would get the typical Democratic vote of "they can't take care of themselves and I can't be bothered to do it myself so let the government do it for me and make me feel good" vote.
She would get the sympathy vote from women for being married to a jackass like Bill for so many years.

We can make fun of her but I see it as a real threat.

Agreed. After she showed up for only 3 (!!!) funerals for 9/11 I lost the shred of respect that I had for her previously.

Well, for one thing, she is a Senator, not the mayor. and usually stays over at Washington. Her responsibilties are there so the best interest of NewYork is for her to be in D.C.

Nah....she's wouldn't be that much of a threat. I know some die hard Yellow Dog Democrats right here in Oklahoma, in Little Dixie even, that hate her and would never vote for her. I think there's a lot of that in the sensible part of the country. Sure the wacko left coasters and liberal idiot Yankees would vote for her but here in the heartland she is universally hated.

Alas, the sensible parts of the country aren't always strategically important when running for president. With enough money, the right connections, a mainstream media that's willing to forgive your shortcomings instead of exposing them, a great PR team and reasonably good looks you can be president. I believe HRC has all of these. I've learned never to overestimate my fellow voter.

How would you know she is universally hated?

Remember NY elected Hillary, so she should've been more respectful of her constituents. Bush didn't carry NY in the election.

I have to agree with JB. Hell, Al Gore who couldn't even win his home state won the popular vote. If people were stupid enough to vote for him they just might be stupid enough to vote for "It takes a village" Hillary.

thanx for the reminder, I almost forgot pulling the lever in the voting booth.

Also, even though Bush didnt win NY, he did win the election, so now every American is his constituent. Besides, the number of funerals attended by a politician is not a good litmus test of their effectiveness.

Hillary could run in 2008...

Wasn't that in the book of Revelations, somewhere near the part about the beast and the devils mark...?

Seriously though, she will have a chance, because people like some morons in this thread will vote for her simply because she is lacking a penis...

the same reason why Mondale picked Ferraro.

Let's hope we get a similar result as that happened in that election.

To all those that ask what's wrong with her..You tell me, what does she stand for?
husband beater :D
Hollywood Actress
The Senator

Basically, she makes Nixon look a role model politician

Luckily not all the Morons (like you) will vote for her

As a whacko Left Coaster I can assure you that she is not respected nor well received here. Maybe places like San Francisco and other Liberal enclaves might support her but over all I think she would lose rather badly to anybody the Republicans would through up against her short of Pat Buchanon.

Maybe if she does get the nomination whenever it would get rid of her once and for all.
Look what it did for Gore !

As for Arabs having to deal with a woman, it has already happened with Sec of State, Marilyn A.
Guess under whose administration that brilliant move was made.
