What is the policy for Mass in terms of equipment and document retention?
Who destroyed the drive, as you stated? Were backups done? What is the policy for such?
Or are you tossing out a stray man to excuse Clinton's actions
Not to mention, and most importantly.
1. Was there an ongoing investigation of Mitt's office?
2. Were the documents under subpoena?
3. Was there a reasonable expectation that they would be needed?
4. Could there be a situation of actual or perceived impropriety in the destruction?
I have had every single email under subpoena and had to produce every single email, attachment, and work product for the FBI and SEC. I was told that if I did not produce something and they searched my drives and found something not produced I could be charged with obstructing justice and contempt of court.
Do you know what I did? I went through every HDD I could find and turned over anything that was even remotely connected with the litigation. I then put the HDDs into a safety deposit box.
I was *not* going to risk my career, safety, and family, over some stupid move on my part.
But then again, I am a lay person, subject to lay laws. Hillary is not subject to those laws and the people here just prove that she doesn't need to worry that she would be.
It doesn't fucking matter if Mitt did it, or Jeb did it. IT IS WRONG. Period. Not a single one of these assholes should be excused. They count on people like you guys excusing their behavior as a way to get out of it.
You know damn well that she made a calculated move. Get rid of any incriminating or embarrassing evidence, make the excuse, take the flak, and let her acolytes lead the proles away from the problem and into the President's office. Better to beg forgiveness than ask permission.
