for someone that's 15... supermarket employee.
compared to that I can get a computer related job easily, I would hate to work at a supermarket!
Kid, you're 15... you are not going to be getting a 'high profit job'. You honestly think somebody is going to hire a 15 year old kid with no ambition to work for their firm? Why don't you take a job selling bullsh!t, cause you seem to have a surplus of it.
First, I have no clue who you are. Second, you sound like the standard bitch with no options or aftermarket products.
Third, you have no clue who I am or my background. If you want, I'll tell you all about my website I ran years ago with over 10k people a day, I'll tell you about the team of programmers in Germany that did some work for my site, I'll tell you how under many search words, my site was #1 for some time in google search listings all without paying them a dime and #2 or #3 for most of the rest. Oh yeah, I'll tell you about my scripting capabilities, go to
www.ankitgupta.com, my website and look at it. Sure the news is out of date along with everything else, but it'll show that I'm committed to school because it matters more than a website. I'll also tell you about how many people come to me for advice on computers and how many people I've put lists together for who bought exactly every part I mentioned.
You wanna argue against someone you don't even know?
Whoopdi-frickin doo! Do you know where you are? Do you know how many people here have skill equal to and far greater than you? Do you think companies really care what skills you have when you demonstrate the kind of attitude you have? Do you think anybody cares that you were involved in a popular website a while ago? Do you think anybody cares that friends listen to your recommendations in computer components?
I'll say again... you are 15, you obviously have no ambition if you aren't willing to work for your money, and you expect to be able to get some sweet job that pays high while requiring little work? Christ kid, wake up.
Yeah, I know many people here HAVE THE SKILL, but how many have on their own except for one large script done it all on their own? Yeah, I really think companies care about my skills because my attitude online with a person like you making assumptions before knowing me is wrong, if you asked me for information before insulting me I would have. I think people care about a popular website I made and handled. Those few programmers didn't do a whole lot, but they did like it so much, they let it all stay under my name. Yes, I think people care I can reccomend computer parts and have them buy the entire list.
Do I have any evidence? Yes, you know how many companies have talked with me about advertising on my site even though I hardly get many visitors? Plenty. One time I was speaking with the president of the large company. I won't make any names here but I turned them all down so far. There are plenty of reasons why and in my situation it was the best choice.
Ambition? Ambition my ass! I did that 10k people a day website when I was... how old? Hint, I'm 15 now and in 10th grade, started it in 6th grade, peak in 7th grade, closed in 8th grade when advertisers were going out of business. So, wait, I was 11? Yeah I was. Oh yeah, this was a site that drove two professional companies out of business because of competition. What did they do wrong? They relied by far too much of hand work. What did my site do differently? The scripts handled just about everything, which made my life very simple.
cricky: You just keep on arguing over one line, I think you might get somewhere in life if you do it enough.
waggy: He started telling me how I act before even knowing me, I have the right to defend with an attitude I like. If a business man called his boss a prostitute on the first day of work, wth do you expect?
Pudgygiant & virtuamike: I've thought about computer related service, but my problem is I don't want to work for a company on this because I've heard it can get really boring, I mean, in the morning you have 10 computers near your desk, you have to fix all of them. Or, you handle orders and build computers, sure the first one or two can be slightly interesting, but for the most part they get boring from there on. I think about computer sales from time to time though, I won't have to handle problems then.
