Ick; how'd that be for a desktop background?
I'm taking a guess here - Lord of the Rings character? I've not yet seen either of the movies.
 
Skoorb has that set as our background this morning. When I came to get on the computer, the monitor was off. I turned it on and nearly screamed! It scared me half to death!

I work in computer graphics and around 3D animation... Gollum is the best animation I have ever seen (just saw LOTR TTT on a sony giant screen last night). I can't even begin to imagine how many people worked on that character.

cool, if you dont know of cgtalk then here a link 🙂 the head of the faces of gollum, treebeard and a few others is on the forum (not many posts though) and then another one who worked in post processing I think is also there (alot of posts)
