Hicks get mad over plan to build mosque

The mosques around me do not play any loud music. There is one right across the street from me.

I like this area because there is a HUGE Church like 1000x larger and all the Muslims park their cars there and walk across the street to the mosque. They obviously had to get permission from the Church. I love it when I see things like that.

They are always wearing their traditional clothing from back home too. I think they are mainly from Pakistan and Afghanistan.

However I only see this once a week on a Friday. The rest of the days the mosque is kind of empty. I always see police cars parked there too.

Thats right, they ALL want to nuke us. Every single one of the billion or so muslims are just waiting for the chance to nuke us. We should just round them up into camps or something, someplace where they can concentrate on what they have done.

I have not seen any mosque in USA doing their call to prayer on loudspeaker or playing anything else on loud speakers. They respect the community's right to a peaceful and noise free neighborhood.

What indoctrination? As far as we know, this incident was the result of one lone nutbar, there is NO evidence that this was anything other than one man warping his religion in the name of violence.

I really don't understand what's wrong with you people. Ever bit of evidence suggests that violent Muslims are the minority among followers of Islam, yet you persist in suggesting they speak for and characterize the entire religion. Why is it that this one guy is indicative of a problem with the entire religion, when 6,999,999 OTHER Muslims in the United States were not planning on blowing anyone up? What makes him the spokesman for American Muslims...simply the fact that this helps support your ignorant bigotry?

Seriously, if you can convince me why I should be pissing my pants every time I see a Muslim, or use the phrase "religion of peace" in a sarcastic manner every five minutes, I'm on board. But so far your entire movement makes the "Red Scare" folks look reasonable by comparison.

Islam is a western religion, genius. The tenets and beliefs of Islam have far more in common with Christianity and Judiasm than with eastern religions like Buddhism. In any case, I like how there are apparently rules for what happens to "great civilizations" in this new century, like what we're experiencing has happened before. Fighting a global ideology is a brand new problem, and if anyone is fighting the last war, it's you jokers.
