I'm a huge fan of Anandtech and have come to this site for many reviews and such. I just now got around to signing up for the forums so here I am. I consider myself a very skilled person as far as it comes to computers and such, so I look forward to meeting the regulars here at the forum. Im running an Athlon 64 3000+, 512MB Elixer CL2 PC3200 RAM, Dual SATA Hard drives, and a NU DD0405 DVD-RW drive. Oh yeah, and thats all on a K8T-Neo Motherboard. My current graphics card is laughable, I have a Geforce 2 MX400 64MB in which I get about 4 fps on Doom III at 640x480/low quility. I have this card because I sold my 9800XT to my friend for $120 cause he needed to upgrade from his 9600Pro. I have no job so im on one of those dollar for dollar budgets, heh, Im only 17. So.. I have 332 so far, and I am saving up to get a Geforce 6800GT. I cant wait, the reviews are awesome for it. I was an ATI guy before there "X" series. I was never loyal to ATI like I am to AMD, I just go with the best FPS/Dollar. As for the CPU market goes, I would take an Athlon XP 2000+ over the latest, greatest, most expensive Intel chip of the moment. Oh, and one last thing about me. I just recently got my G.E.D. and quit highschool, gonna take a few years off school and get into ITT tech or something.
