And as for me being a newb, that may apply to this firum, but not to technolgy in general. There is no need for all the flak that I got. Also, I am not trying to start an AMD/Intel war, I was just stating my side.

Grammar not Grammer. Get it right or end up selling dope. The choice is yours.

It doesn't matter. We'd flame you if you were a veteran. The secret is to not take anything to heart, and occassionally listen. I've been flamed to church and back, but I occassionally learned something from those flames. It all helps out in the end, if you pay attention. ;)

Now, STFU newbie! :p

Haha. Well I do have a big weakness, or weekness, and that is with spelling of a a few words in particular. I know that makes me look stupid, but I'm working on that.

My Sweet Pavica,

In ATOT you will come to realize that everything matters. You will label yourself inadvertantly, and everyone will think you are a pro-XBRAND zelot, or a lovelorn teenager (Skywalker), or something else. Good luck, and I wish you the best. Please remember not to post things about games, politics, or hardware in this forum, there are other sections of Anandtech for them.

My Heart to Yours,
Modeps.

dictionary.com is a wonderful site. Also, there are dictionary extensions for browsers that use XUL (Mozille and firefox).

It doesn't make you look stupid, but it makes me want to start taking antabuse.

Well personally, I'm not one to care what people think. I just wanted to find a place in which I could talk to others about a common interest. If this doesn't work out, I can always go back to what I was doing before Anandtech.

Welcome to ATOT. The dogs will hump your leg twice daily for that here, it's just a hobby for them. My suggestion, if you really want to talk about technology, AVOID OFF TOPIC AT ALL COSTS. Also steer clear of P&N too. But seriously... stay out of off topic - otherwise nearly every post you make will look like this thread even if you have a legit post.

Never claim that you know a lot about something. There will always be people that know a whole lot more, and then call you on that. If you know a lot, then just let it be as that, and let the others in the forum create their own opinion of your knowledge base. Raving that you are not a newbie will just get people to say otherwise.

Welcome to the forums by the way! Oh, and never take anything said on the forums seriously. If you do, you will end up a grumpy old man.

And about the dictionary sites, thanks but no thanks. I usually don't bother with the spelling because like I said, it really doesn't matter much to me. Im just trying to work on it personally. And as for the source, I usually use google's "Did you mean...." .. heh, It's quick.

Prove the knowledge with useful posts in the technical forums. Over all the technical forums are much more forgiving then ATOT and P&N. ;)

Spelling is a problem for me too, which is why I visit dictionary.com several times each night.

Well I just wanted to make things more clear because I see how I made a bad first impression.

Pleasurable Pavica,

Honestly, spelling really makes you at least seem like you are more intelligent, specially on the Internet where text is the preferred choice of communication. I suggest that you rethink your "I dont care about speeling" stance.

Massively Modular,
Modeps.

That's just it. You didn't make a bad impression. Most of us will have forgotten you, or atleast this thread, by the end of the day. ;)

Don't listen to any of these flamers. ATOT is a perfect place to talk about anything. These guys are just tryin to rough you up a bit.

I don't like extensions for the most part, and I only use IE at work (where I can't install anything). Plus, dictionary.com helps me brush up on things. ;)
