Wife wants more pics :) Good shots the Sony cam is taking too.

If you are near Yobobashi Camera, it's a freaking insane electronics store...my wife said that will be a day to myself to check out that and the girl scene...she's just providing the directions ;).

Many vendors make a decent business just moving stuff from that store to america.

Check out the shrine near the Budokan...I think it's called Yasukuni. If memory serves correctly there should be a fairly large Japanese summer festival in honor of the dead (pretty weird, I know, but it's a good time) around the 18th or the 20th of July. There's a beautiful garden if you go into the entrance to the palace from there, walk past the Budokan and into the gardens...

If you take the former "Hanzomon" line (runs from Chuo-Rinkan to Suitengumae) and get off around Kudanshita it should drop you off right near that shrine - also, Asakusa is a must-visit!

Forget Yodobashi. Hit up Akihabara, where close to 10% of all Japanese electronics are sold (there's probably a Yodobashi there anyway). You can take the JR (Japan Railways) trains there - I think the famous Yamanote line (runs through all of Tokyo's most expensive real estate) stops there - a whole bunch of them do. Akihabara has everything from arcades to small stores selling bare motherboards (kinda shady, but legit).

Akihabara is where I meant...I got side tracked with my cats as I was posting....Yodobashi is also good though.

Yeah, I went to Akihabara to get the camera. But I saw things like "40 Gig hd, 5400 RPM, $150!!!" so I didn't bother shopping for computer parts. Also, I went to Asakusa but the market didn't have much appealing things. I liked the temple, though I got the bad luck fortune

nice pics BTW but next time rsize them

I know, I'm sorry about that. It's one of my pet peeves as well but I'm on a really really crappy computer (32 megs of ram) and it takes a LONG time to resize and such.
