Hey! What if they cloned a dinosaur?

Could they actually do this? And I don't understand why they don't. Something non-lethal. Like a teradactoh (SP?)

haven't been able to do it yet since they dont have any dino dna.

I think you've made a wise choice. Boy, I wish those scientists would hurry up. I'm gettin' hungry.

depends what kind of dinosaur.

I know I would. Char broiled dinosaur covered in gravy. Side of curly fries. I bet they'd call it the Dinosaur Special.

Yeah.. It's hard for DNA to last millions of years.

Where's that "lucky" piece of amber with a prehistoric mosquito in it? ;)

Are there none on the bones of the dinos? Sorry I'm not a science freak.

Hey, don't jerk me around Booster! It's a simple question: Would you eat a dinosaur?

That wouldn't help. Even if a mosquito landed in amber and was immediate enveloped by it after biting a dinosaur, we would still be out of luck. Although the mosquito would die, it would continue to matabolize the blood it took in, destroying DNA. There was a very good book written about the subject that was called the Science Behind Jurassic Park in which they say it is impossible to clone Dinos from mosquito's stomach contents.

Hey, I'm just kidding. No offense meant (as usual). To eat it? For me, a more practical question is... If I'd be in such a situation w/o food in a deserted place, would I eat someone who has just died to keep myself alive? I can't answer this simple question. Maybe it would depend on whether I'd have sufficient amounts of ketchup or not.

It has been hypothesized that if one were to grind up massive quantities of dinosaur bones one might be able to extract DNA.
