cool. so far, no one's work rig is as crappy as mine.

maybe i can use this thread as leverage for the IT department to think about getting some upgrades.

🙂 sure! at the end of last year when i was starting to post more, i have the IT person a head's up.

"hey, uh... about the corporate internet usage policy... um, there's this site i visit on a daily basis. it's computer tech-chat and such, and my usage will be relegated to breaks. this is fine, right?"

Nicely done ... I supppose it is a good strategy, if you can swing it, to let them know in advance. Me, I just unblocked AT Forums from our Firewall for only myself. 😱
