“When a great genius appears in the world you may know him by this sign; that the dunces are all in confederacy against him.” - Johnatan Swift about Putin.

Those two quotes go great together.

Team Fountain ? Pretty good in it's own right.

"Hehe, hey there... Uh... Vladimir. Is this how you wave to someone in Russian?"

Well, you and I both know Vlad's got it all wrong. This may really piss him off, but political satire being what it is, he'll understand it's all in fun and for sure I'm definitely not making a statement of any kind in any way shape or form.

It just completes the picture some folks may have been imagining, especially those from some other neighboring country who just recently got some of their prime territory taken away from them.

I'm sure you do view people who have contrary viewpoints as brainwashed. It's sad that you don't realize that Putin is running a similar kleptocracy, he just benefitted from way higher oil prices.

You guys are so used to being robbed you think that the guy who robs you less is somehow a good thing. Ugh, it's sad. Putin doesn't give a shit about self determination. Russia doesn't give a shit about self determination. He cares about being big and important, as does Russia.

I'm not a big fan of Putin. Yet, the only thing the west wants to see in Russia is a weak leader, and somebody who can sell the country out for their exploitation. I find it ironic that the U.S constantly cries out against "tyranny" when Putin bans or jails his critics, like the West's darling Navalny (ready to sell the country out to the highest bidder), yet the U.S is absolutely silent when Putin silences or bans the NBP (New Bolshevik Party) and stops Eduard Limonov from running in elections. Why? Because Limonov advocates a strong Russia and wouldn't bow down to the U.S hegemony.
If U.S was truly concerned for democracy and censorship, they would've cried foul when the NBP was banned.
