I had DIMES running on my three home computers and two at one of the offices I manage. It was overloading my come connection and Comcast started complaining about it so I had to turn things off here, and I put Rosetta on the dual Xeon I had running Dimes at the office since the server kept shutting Dimes off anyway (I don't know why).
So basically, I just have Dimes running on one computer right now that is too slow to run any other DC project. I'd like to keep both going but I'm really interested in doing Rosetta and the majority of the computers I have access too just don't have enough RAM to run Rosetta, Dimes, and the actual business-related applications they need to use.
Short version: I was running Dimes mostly just so I could satisfy my DC addition. It really doesn't have much interest to me apart from crunching for the team, and I'm very interested in running Rosetta (I like medical research projects), so the computers I have access to get first priority with Rosetta. Any computers that can't run Rosetta, and the systems than can comfortably run both, will get Dimes. But I won't be able to work out the details on that for a week or two.
edit: And Ray, I'm not afraid of your cane as much as the thought of you SHOWING me your cane. :Q
