There was a new Futurama on tonight.

It was to be a Zapp Brannigan episode.

Thank god for the internet.

These channels in the early 90s used to be good:

History
TLC
Comedy Central
Sci-fi
Cartoon Network

They all now either suck or are extreme shadows of what they were.

I use to watch three channels:
Sci-fi, but now it's Syfy and there's almost no science fiction now.
History Channel, once again the main theme is gone. It's now reality crap, ghosts, and aliens.
TechTV which got bought out and turned into the crappy G4.

I watched TechTV when it still was ZDTV

As far as AMC, I stopped them when they started editing like crazed religious fundies with an axe, and started serving up more commercials than movie. That was a long long time ago.
AMC will edit out the word POT, as they done in the film nine 2 five. WTF???

Anyone know when NBC Universal contract expires with Dish and DirecTV. Comcast could make things very bad for them by demanding impossible fees or even refusing to allow their channels on their competitors systems. Comcast has many important sports rights, and News channels, MSNBC will soon pass up FauxNews as the most watched News Channel. It would be a disaster for their competitors to lose these channels, but a potential win for Comcast as they gain new customers.

Unless their were restrictions against this when they purchased NBC Universal.

LMAO what color is the sky in your world? Q2 2012 Ratings: MSNBC Down Double Digits

MSNBC continued its run as the #2 cable news network for Q2 2012 but is also experiencing declines, double digit in most cases. In Primetime, MSNBC is down -13% in Total Viewers and -17% in younger viewers. In Total Day viewership is down -10% in Total Viewers and -17% in younger viewers.

The ratings for Q2 2012: MSNBC

Primetime (Mon-Sun): 689,000 Total Viewers / 217,000 A25-54
Total Day (Mon-Sun): 394,000 Total Viewers / 129,000 A25-54

The ratings for Q2 2012: FNC

Primetime (Mon-Sun): 1.791M Total Viewers / 355,000 A25-54
Total Day (Mon-Sun): 1.052M Total Viewers / 254,000 A25-54

Fox News Channel ratings will always be the highest because it's an excellent source of entertainment rather than just people reporting the facts. The other channels are just boring facts blablabla. Fox turned the news, especially politics, into something like the WWE. From the outrageous headlines (OBAMA SNEEZES IN CHURCH; REPUBLICANS CALL FOR EXORCISM), anchors trolling the guests, to the school yard antics of the morning show there is always something comical going on. And it's gotten much better since Obama. They hate him so bad they can't stand it. I love to watch that channel just for the lulz as the youngsters say.

The programming is obviously designed that way on purpose to get people to tune in, and it has paid off.

I think Comcast needs to be very careful. If they tried to pull that I can see the Feds going after them.

Apparently as part of the merger agreement, the Feds made Comcast agree to a BINDING arbitration in carriage disputes, if the other party request it.

Sorry, but it looks like MSNBC is a looong way off from surpassing Fox News Channel's ratings.

why are you said that you have the ability to watch them online from the daily show website?

Look at the quote in my post above that one. Viacom removed most full-episodes from their streaming sites (except SPS).

A member said "at least I can stream..." before this happened.
