In this episode, we learn that Hiro cannot change fate. Charlie had a brain clot and was going to pass anyway so his whole reason for transporting back was worthless. I kinda feel for him and I really liked Charlie's character more than Jessica/Nikki/Nicole .. I really hope she is gone in the next episode, but I have an eerie feeling that its going to be Ando..

That's not true, he told whats his name to save the cheerleader, and he did. Future Hiro apparently knew that she must be saved, presumably because she was killed initially.

Just as I thought -- the mind control girl didn't kill Sylar as per Mr. Bennet's instructions. Sylar's first usable power was taken from B.D. and he was on a hunt for more brains. Hiro couldn't save the waitress but future Hiro asks Peter to save the cheerleader. I'm guessing the logic here is that you can't alter your own past but you can alter your future. Note that as per the paintings, Hiro more or less caused the accident regarding the Japanese school girl, and there was a dead cheerleader. This sorta suggests the massive explosion Hiro saw in the future will occur.

I can't resolve the present day interaction between the waitress and Hiro. Surely she should recognize him as someone she meet 6 months ago. Did he reveal her fate to her in the past and she just pretended not to know him?

Back to last episode. Why did Linderman buy the painting of Peter dying at Homecoming and why would he give/sell it to Nathan P.? This just a weak plot point?

My guess is that Save the Cheerleader mission was to prevent Sylar from becoming invincible. Its a good thing they chose a fake watch company name instead of something else like Rolex or Casio or Timex. I am sure NBC would definately be sued again.

So what would happen if Peter was with Nikki/Jessica? If he tried to mimic her power, would he be able to transform into Nathan on the fly (with superhuman strength?)...or would he have the ultimate threesome?

Peter is a powerful empath. When they showed him having the dream of what was really happening during his brothers accident, it was showing the first glimmerings of his power.

Personally I thought it was really obvious that Sykar was going around collecting powers from other Heroes brains, and I am glad I was right. Also I assume in the original timeline Sylar killed Claire and got her power and then probably got the Nuke guys power and nuked NYC himself.. . .

Assuming Sylar Killed the professor, did Sylar absorb everything the prof knew about finding the mutants and now knows how to find everyone?

that was his original power, to see what was "wrong" in people's brains........don't know if the professor had any powers.....i don't think he can absorb information.
