I wish it was a bit more entertaining but all the hype over these guys was a huge letdown.
Hopefully they find someone who can put up a challenge.
That was the huge mistake they made.
You have a character that is near invincible (Peter).
You have a character that can time travel (any storyline can be undone).
Now characters formerly dead are coming back in the form of a twin and to be explained (linderman).
At this point the show is comically bad. There's no tension anymore. Zero. The writers should be ashamed.
Yeah I agree, the first season had me on the edge of my seat, but there's not much tension in this one. Hiro and Peter can time travel anywhere they want and change history however they want. Peter, Sylar, Claire, and Adam can't be killed. Sylar isn't much of a threat anymore because he's going to turn into big daddy in the future, but now that Peter has his ability he's starting to go bananas. So all we really have for tension is Peter's mom saying there's someone pulling the strings and that they're all being manipulated. That doesn't feel like a very strong mission for Hiro, not like he had in the first season.
A lot of the material just feels like a tip of the hat towards the first season, acknowledging the issues they had but not really creating the drama that once was there. Like in the preview for the next episode, Claire's like, "How can you be working with that monster after what he did to me?" It just doesn't feel like as big of a deal anymore, it's just kind of a cursory reference to what happened before, but without all that great tension and "oh my gosh!" and "holy crap!" moments
😛
Oh and I think the girl is one of triplets, if I heard the doctor correctly.
And whatever happened to West, the flying kid?
😕
