I don't remember future peter getting shot in the head. Claire shot him in the chest a few times.

The flying kid (West) is nowhere to be found. So is the invisible man. Speaking of which, why doesn't Peter use invisibility more often?

PS - Peter, to satisfy your hunger:
1) Open people's skulls and read their brains
2) Put skull back on
3) Inject your blood into them and bring them back to life
4) ....
5) Profit!

Yeah, the Haitian thing is what I meant by "in the same way." You couldn't kill Adam or Claire like that because they would spontaneously regenerate once he leaves (like the branch in Claire's brain steam from Season 1).
I think the preview suggested that Nathan was given his powers. We'll see about the rest ...

I wish it was a bit more entertaining but all the hype over these guys was a huge letdown.
Hopefully they find someone who can put up a challenge.
That was the huge mistake they made.
You have a character that is near invincible (Peter).
You have a character that can time travel (any storyline can be undone).
Now characters formerly dead are coming back in the form of a twin and to be explained (linderman).
At this point the show is comically bad. There's no tension anymore. Zero. The writers should be ashamed.
Yeah I agree, the first season had me on the edge of my seat, but there's not much tension in this one. Hiro and Peter can time travel anywhere they want and change history however they want. Peter, Sylar, Claire, and Adam can't be killed. Sylar isn't much of a threat anymore because he's going to turn into big daddy in the future, but now that Peter has his ability he's starting to go bananas. So all we really have for tension is Peter's mom saying there's someone pulling the strings and that they're all being manipulated. That doesn't feel like a very strong mission for Hiro, not like he had in the first season.
A lot of the material just feels like a tip of the hat towards the first season, acknowledging the issues they had but not really creating the drama that once was there. Like in the preview for the next episode, Claire's like, "How can you be working with that monster after what he did to me?" It just doesn't feel like as big of a deal anymore, it's just kind of a cursory reference to what happened before, but without all that great tension and "oh my gosh!" and "holy crap!" moments 😛
Oh and I think the girl is one of triplets, if I heard the doctor correctly.
And whatever happened to West, the flying kid? 😕
I actually think the main theme of this season is that (future) Peter cannot just time travel and change history however he wants. He realizes he screwed things up terribly and out of desparation decides he can't keep just jumping around and tries to convince (present) Peter to get Sylar's primary ability to decipher the formula and stop things in that way. Which looks to be potentially his worst mistake ever.

Hopefully now that peter has sylar's power he'll start to think rationally and less like a complete dumbass (though he'll still have to eat the occasional brain 😛 ).

I laugh at all you haters that can't enjoy a good show. This show wasn't supposed to be realistic, its a comic book style show. Its awesome and probably the best and one of the few shows on tv that I will watch.

peter's stupidity and bad judgment is the one thing stopping him from being deus ex machina 😛

The Haitian was around. Peter can also be killed by a bullet to the brain.

You sure? I wish I hadn't deleted it so I caould go back and check if he was.
So clare was also inactive when she was fighting the peters? Bit of a risk there.

As Peter ran past the garbage can it looked like that Haitian was the black guy that was right there. It could've been the dude that feeds on fear; I don't remember.
Either way, if Future Peter got one to the head, it's over.

again, if this were "true" about Claire, according to their world:
1: large-ass stick in head would have killed her season 1
2: Sylar would never have said "you can never die, Claire" when he took her powers.
3: HRG, who took a bullet through his eye, and clearly into his brain, would actually be dead, rather than alive. I mean, he's human, right? Oh wait, they used CLAIR'S FUCKING BLOOD to save him from his human fate.
Peter can't die. It makes no sense why they ever say he can die with a bullet to the brain, when most of the characters have come back from this. Claire has. a god damn powerless human has.
so yeah. the show is garbage. writing sucks. they don't even check the shit they've pulled out of their asses.
😛

could be the fact that claire's power is "natural" to her physiology whereas peter is just simulating it.

Peter himself recovered from a shard of glass in his head just like Claire. This is just a show and becomes exactly what the writers make it to be, otherwise Peter can't die.
The only thing is we know that Claire and Adam can survive strain 138 of the virus, but I believe it can kill Peter, so it seems that Claire and Adam do have and edge over Peter, but he should still be able to heal.
Also, it also may be possible that only Adam's and Claire's blood can heal and maybe not Peter's or Sylar's. I Peter is somehow dead, some blood from Claire should make him all better.
As always, I have to ask, Who has the "Light" to stop the formula?
I don't like how scare guy was beating Sylar, in the past (or present) he was no match for Sylar with a bank full of people to strengthen him. Sylar should have taken him down without braking a sweat, even if he was trying not to use his powers.
I don't see how Sylar's powers help Peter as I though it was for small things like how powers work. What he needs is the poser of that guy who can see probability, hopefully he will be the new character and then Peter will see what he needs to do.
