Who was that chick that Sylar killed in the beginning (actress name), she was hot. Why kill hot chicks, kill of the ugly ones and make the hot ones regular characters at leas for some time.

The level 5 guys seemed quite weak, Sylar was way more powerful. Sylar is not completely evil, just whack as was also shown in season 1.

You can also see just how much more powerful Peter is walking about like nothing. If he would only use his powers, the show would probably end as he could do just about anything.

I would like to see him by the speedster, than he becomes super fast and freeze time and fly and all the rest.

And with all the x-men powers. What if the "Light" is the Phoenix. Now that would be cool, if not a little to much. One major reason I liked heroes from season one is that their powers were not overly flashy, possibly even realistic. The crazies the powers the more it becomes just a typical comic book story.
I still hope Claire has the "Light".

I wish it was a bit more entertaining but all the hype over these guys was a huge letdown.

Hopefully they find someone who can put up a challenge.

I seem to notice a lot of repeating powers...where's the fun in that?

And what's with Suresh becoming Spiderman? 😕

I wouldn't be surprised if there were a handful of "basic" powers with everything else being some spin-off or alteration of them.

who is the Marlowe character?

we've been calling him Marlowe b/c it's the same actor that plays Marlowe Stanfield in "The Wire."

and since "The Wire" is officially > *, he will only ever be known as Marlowe.

he's one of the villains. the fear-munching, chest-punching black dude.

So can Parkman do what Santiago/African guy can (the paint the future, thing?) or does he just see the future? Does his mind reading/control extend to all the other psychic categories?

far as I remember, Parkman can only hear people's thoughts. And from the few episodes of season 2 that I caught, it seems he's honed his telepathy even further into low mind control, and even Xavier-like mind-fuck adventures, like when he trapped his dad by imprisoning his mind within some imaginary apartment.

I don't think he has any cognitive abilities. But who knows, they make this shit up as they go along, with little regard to actual character. He'll probably be leaping from building to building next week...

Aw man, my boy Mohinder was missing from this episode! I wonder what's going on with him...

With any luck, his little serum has already turned him into a puddle of goo. He's been dead weight in this show since the beginning.

Mohinder is an annoying whiny character, I wish they'd kill him off already. Unfortunately it looks like he's getting more involved now that he's becoming "the fly".

Late to the party, just watched the first 3 eps. Jesus this season is stupid. I might just cancel this from my dvr.

Agreed. 1st season had a good script, direction, and purpose. It all just went downhill from there on.

Same thing happened with Lost...Season 1 was great, then it kinda started going downhill from there. It started picking up a bit at the end of Season 3. The last episode of last season was pretty cool.

I wonder why it's so hard to have good writing in consecutive seasons of a TV show. Media and fan pressure? Not enough time to write a good script?

It's the simple fact that the introduction to the concept is a lot more interesting. It keeps people curious about what people do what. But now that we know pretty much everything worth knowing about each character, it just seems to draw on.

That was the huge mistake they made.

You have a character that is near invincible (Peter).

You have a character that can time travel (any storyline can be undone).

Now characters formerly dead are coming back in the form of a twin and to be explained (linderman).

At this point the show is comically bad. There's no tension anymore. Zero. The writers should be ashamed.

They started it off too strong having Sylar and Peter in the same episodes in the first season. Two nearly unstoppable powerhouses. Add Claire into the mix and you've got a clusterfuck.

The future stuff was getting interesting, particularly with the new nice sylar.

Then the crew stopped by and the boy nuked them all.

Getting interesting.

holy shit this was definitely one of the best episodes I've seen. It just made Season 3 better than Season 1.
