I own 30-40 Dragonlance books, and I still think they're just as cheesy as any primetime tv drama...

They're not that cheesy in my imagination. :p

Two minor story holes been bugging me:

HRG teamed up with the memory wiping Haitian after Claude disappeared yet West remembers Noah from his abduction.

The Haitian hancuffed Peter in an empty cargo container that ends up across the pond where men with accents somehow thought it was full of merchandise.

---

Nov 19 preview has me wondering about:

Hiro's time travel effort to save his old man Sulu

and

the High Noon Shoot Out involving Noah & Claire vs Bob & Moh & Elle.

Guessing Hiro's chances of changing history and saving Sulu's life are slim to none. Although Bob & Moh end up with a gun pointed at them Issac's painting shows what looks like Noah prone with a bloody headache. So whereas Hiro couldn't save his dad maybe just maybe Claire might save hers.

You've got me on the first one.

The second one, my best guess is whoever gave them the tip deliberately misinformed them.

That first one bugs me a bit too. But it could be the Haitian's powers aren't as finite? Or he's human..and simply flawed.

The second one is easy, it was suppose to be merchandised... shippers saw it closed, so they loaded it :)

Is there a reason West couldn't have been abducted during the Claude era?

I'm thinking Adam is immortal.. I don't think he time traveled or whatever, I think he used to be evil and is currently repenting for his sins.. But whatever, that's just me though.

I think he's still evil--I think he's the driving force for getting the Shanti virus released.

Appears Hero powers manifest [usually] after puberty, Claire and West are about the same age, and (I may be wrong but didn't) Claude disappeared 5-10 years ago? Afterwhich HRG partnered with the mute Haitian.

DOH! usually after puberty. Anyway I got the impression that West's abduction was within the few years which should mean the Haitian was with Noah.

Elle claims to have manifested her powers at age 6, and Micah was 10 or younger. Dunno how old Molly is, but she definitely appears to be pre-pubescent.

Didn't Claude disappear when Claire was a baby? Or sometime around 10 years ago...

I think Adam is still evil especially since it's believed that he's the one that killed Sulu. Even during the previously happened scenes, Kensei/Adam said, "As long as I have breath, I shall take everything you hold dear" or something like that.

I thought yesterday's episode was a little disappointing... I guess I just expected something like that near the beginning, not episode 8 (now out of 13). Maybe it's just that the episode was decent but it's attempting to pick up my opinion of the show which is in a slump.

All I know is I got more entertainment out of watching The Big Bang Theory :p.

Can't wait to see Hiro try and save his father. Would like to think Adam has turned a new leaf, but not counting on that yet. As well as Bob plays the nice guy I think he is on the wrong side.

Enjoyed the flashback show, answered some nagging questions. 3 epidsodes left, should be an exciting finish.

Maybe there's a twist and Adam is actually the good one. Making him seem evil is just a ploy by the writers. Bob and company are the evil ones.

On a different topic, shouldn't Peter's blood have super healing properties too?

probably... or maybe it's too different from strictly one power?

That was a lame episode. Feel bad because everytime I think the next episode is going to be good, I try to convince my wife to watch it with me and it results in a terrible episode. Last season, it was a bunch of Nikki drawn out episodes. Last night, it is a waste of minutes on Nikki and the twins. Not surprising, my wife thought the episode was bad also. Can anyone explain to me how Peter and Nathan's mom helped the Haitian? And how did the Haitian get to come back to the company? And if Adam is so dangerous, why didn't the Haitian wipe out his memory?

the episode answered most of the questions left by the season finale/premiere and set up the final 3 episodes perfectly. some people will never be pleased with anything...

or maybe they are both evil with different evil agendas?

never thought about peter's blood having those properties, but i'm sure there's some explanation for why they don't/they haven't explored whether they do or not.

You may be watching, but not paying attention.

The Haitian never left the 'company' during these episodes. At some point the company must infect him and send him off to die. (The story is on NBC's Heroes site under novels)...he gets well and comes back to the states to find HRG.

More than likely Adam wasn't wiped because they already had him locked up. I don't think he got vistors. Being he is immortal he probably needs nothing given to him.

I am not sure why the adversion to Nikki's character nor the mexicans...other than some of the tangents drawn out too much.

maybe I'd have liked her better if they started off the season with how we saw them tonight, but now, I'm just sick of the damned whining. "omg, I killed people... whaaaaaaaaa." take a damn prozac, girl.
To be honest, I don't even mind those characters all that much. The thing that bugs the fucking crap out of me is:

MAAAAJAAAA
ALEJANDRO!!!
MAAJAAA!!!!
ALEJANDRO!!
MAJA!
ALEJANDRO!
MAAJAAAAAA!

repeat chorus 3x per ep.

SHUT. THE. FUCK. UP.

Yeah, that's so fvcking annoying. Even having Sylar hook up with them does not offset how fvcking annoying their characters are.

the story was terrible. why bringing DL back? he was ALREADY dead. that's truly lame.

3 episodes left to end season 2? wow that's quick.
Wasn't this season supposed to be composed of 2 twelve epsiode story-lines? Maybe the writer's strike is putting a dent in that?

Personally I liked today's episode. It answered a lot of questions.

btw, Peter needs to bend Kristin Bell over, make her shoot sparks out of her ears (or whereever), then frag her. She's easy on the eyes but her character is annoying.

I liked the espisode as well. Provided some background info and had a decent ending with Peter and Adam. Unfortunately, as was mentioned, the writers strike means that this season's story is undoubtedly going to be rushed and lacking in quality.

Unless someone cuts off his head. Wait, I'm thinking of a different show.
