For practice you can create your own game, make it private, pick a slot and hit Start. You canmess aorund with skills and items.
 
Join the AnandTech channel peeps.. If everyone just joins that then we don't need to worry about remembering names and checking this thing as much.

Anyway, I'm down for an AT only game.

I find playing AREM games is a good way to start the game. You will always be playing a new hero and be facing new ones. It's a great way to learn how all the heroes work... Although APEM is a great way to play as well because then you can master one character and merge that over into others.
 
I haven't seen the OP post in a while, but if theshad reads this, maybe you can update your original post with details for joining the AnandTech channel.
 
Any new impressions of this game? I saw some screenshots over at the DOTA forums and it looks almost exactly like DOTA, which is the main game I play right now (it's sooooo addicting argh!)

It's DotA w/o being stuck behind the WC3 engine and battle.net. Most of the heroes and items are direct translations from DotA, with the blessings of IceFrog.
 
Only problem is almost everyone playing is an elitist asshole. If you haven't ever played Dota you are going to get ridiculed by a bunch of dicks.

Anyway, I would like a key. I got one already and played, but I want another for my friend.
 
Playing Supreme Commander and its ability to zoom all the way out to the full map view has spoiled me when it comes to any RTS games (or varients like this).

I might be able to get a few games in this week if people want to set a time. I'm in PST though, mind you. I will also seem like a complete noob as it's been difficult to transition my brain from DotA to HoN...I'm positive that the learning curve is more difficult than when I first started with DotA, LOL.
 
Has anybody been able to get more beta keys? I am really interested in trying this. I am in the beta for LoL but haven't enjoyed it that much.

I think they are not going to release anymore unless you pre-order the game...

I'm done playing this game soon as they charge money for it. It's not worth $30.
