Invite sent to the e-mail in your profile, I hope it's right 🙂

I would love one as well EvilYoda, though I don't really like throwing me email out there, I have pm'd you as well.

Seems like an interesting game. I enjoy DOTA everyone once in a while, would be nice to play someone elses take on the game type. Would like to try it if anyone still has keys.

Ok ok! Drop me a pm if you would like - so at least I can remember you name and look you up to return the favor at some point!

Well your PM was just so kindly worded and well written that I sent you an invite anyway. 😛

(Seriously...it's surprising to see that people on the internet can still write non-suckingly.)

You're #2...I'm ignoring PMs, as people seem incapable of following relatively simple instructions. 🙂

Is the last one still there? I wouldn't mind taking it off your hands. 😉 vhxonline at gmail dot com

And that makes 3. $30 to purchase...hmmm...

Having fun EvilYoda! Though no one is really nooby friendly. I got booted for looking at the items in game, during my second match. I am also getting owned quite a bit.

...though I haven't played DoTA in around 3 years and was never that good at it. Having a blast all the same.

OK, my opinion of this game has soured in the past 40 minutes...I got kicked out of one game by level 2 (titled NOOBS ONLY!)and then bitched at during the next - violently, for not knowing there were teleport scrolls.

I played DOTA and enjoyed it but was never that persistent with it. I just stuck to being amazing at tower defense -- and now though I don't remember the items or strategies, I am helplessly lost.

I guess I will go read up, but at the moment it is the last thing I really feel like doing. I just want to enjoy the game, but unfortunately, everyone here is a "pro" and acts like it. If you aren't a DOTA vet don't bother buying this. Don't have too much optimism for your beta experience either. Though it is possible I just keep running into angry sociopaths.

And, no I am not retarded. I am an experienced gamer, everything from RTS, MMOs to FPS and I am pretty good at them all.

Yeah, DotA people are idiots. Take the time to read over the forums - I even printed out a few posts that detailed items/heroes and their DotA counterparts. It might help you to print out copies of where items can be found, how much they cost, what items go into a recipe, etc.

See if you can't get some small private games going before you jump into the pubs. I haven't touched the game in a few weeks and I won't have a chance to until next week at the earliest. Or, maybe you should try hosting.

That's dumb considering the game said noobs only. I love how the game is organized though so you can avoid noobs by using the filter (although noobs still end up in the game) and that you can see people's stats before starting. I had trouble too with the items, I recommend doing what Yoda said.

im in the beta as well. I dont have a real grasp as to which heroes are good, and the strategies yet; learning is definitely hard as everyone seems to be a pro and unwilling to help.

ATOT clan anyone?

Just played a few games and it's really good! Plays just like DOTA, looks a lot better, and the entire interface is designed around the format so it works a lot better than WC3. I like the WoW style "party" teammate thing too.

I would be down for a solely-AT game. Set up a 2v2 or 3v3 and we can just goof off. Give ample time to learn the items and heroes.
