As far as parking close to someone that can't park between the lines, I see no problem with it as long as you are in the middle of your spot. If they parked like that because the car they parked next to was over the line, then that doesn't get them off the hook. They could have found another spot and parked correctly. If someone is standing between the urinals doing there business on the bathroom wall, do you go on the wall between the next two urinals?

whats funny is whenever i see a car taking up two parking spaces its never the nice new BMW or such. its always some kid in a ricer.

But yeah i always want to park in front of them and have someone park on the other side so they cant get out. Until my daughter was born i always drove junkers. If someone hits the thing it wont be noticeable in all the other dents etc.

a little OT but when i was 17 i owned a 1980 Honda accord. it was really rusty and just a pile of junk. Anyway some A-hole in a nice new Lexus rear ended me. It did NO damage to my car. well there was a pile of rust sitting on the road. But after that my car ran soo much better. granted it was louder but it ran great! heh the guy gave me a check for i think $500 (might have been more. i cant remember) to fix my car. heh i paid $25 for it so i made a good profit!

That "pile of rust " was the exhaust system.

yeah thats what i figured. I never took it in to have it checked. i had the car a year and besides getting in the wreck i never changed the oil. heh sold it to someone for $300 heh

I pooped in a urinal once

LOL. Oh my I wasn't expecting that.

Some one parked illegally next to my car once (I was on the last spot on the end, they parked next to me...was NOT a spot they were in) because it was illegal they parked so close that I couldn't get in...after crawling over the stick shift I just rolled the window down and hawked a luggie on their passenger window. Which is better than I should have done!

i wouldve pissed on that car if i were you. a simple spit doesnt do it

Oh believe me, I wanted to throw a cinder block through the windshield...but in the grand scheme of things, it was just better to spit on it and move on. He probably got towed anyway.

The reasons why some people intentionally take 2 parking spaces is because a lot of dumbasses open their door without thinking that it might hit another car, creating dings and scratches that are PITA to fix, and just sore to the eyes.

Imagine u worked ur ass off, and u just bought this nice car, and some A hole openend their door so hard it dinged your door.. I intentionally try to avoid this. No I dont take 2 parking space... but I try to find a parking space that is far away, or I try to park next to a nice car

If you drive a POS you obviously dont care, but people who appreciate their cars DONT want to get these dings, hence why they take 2 parking spaces.

I agree that is extremely selfish to take 2 parking spaces if the parking lot is full. But if the lot is empty, and if the person park away from the busy area, he should be able to do that..

Morons who key other cars because of hate should get their fingers cut off..

Agreed. I forgot that I also try to find a nice car to park next to, because they will likely care about their car therefore there's less risk that they will ding yours.

Ha! I kinda like having an old beater. In fact, I miss not having one. That's why I just bought a '93 Sable for $500 last night. (3.8L V6, baby--oh, the powAr!)

If I were you I'd be prepared to get in a fight... you never know if someone is going to be waiting to beat your ass and make you move your car.

Why because I parked within the lines of a parking space and they didn't?

Did you ever think that they parked that way because of another asshat that parked over the lines next to him? Sounds like you're just being envious of the other drivers because you have a junker.

Ever think that they could do the same as Riprorin and park in the lines so the other asshat who didn't park right would have trouble getting into his car.

If you can't park between your lines, you shouldn't be driving end of story.

If theres a parking space avaliable and someone is over a little the line, I sure as hell will take the space and park in my lines even if that means the other dumbass next to me can't get into his car. Serves the retard right.

Is this supposed to be something new? I've been parking like that for years! (so that I obstruct the other driver's entry into their car.)

You think that "he parked next to someone who was also parked wrong" is a valid excuse? So, two wrongs make a right?? If you can't fit into the parking space, don't park in the parking space.

What's even better is parking next to someone who pulls in diagonally. If they pull into their parking place far enough, then I park so I'm just far enough into the parking spot, it prevents them from leaving without either running into my car or doing a 15 point turn to get out. I glance at their license plate as I leave in case of a hit and run... So far no one's hit me backing out. ---cars parked like this: \|

Any asshole that parks so that they block 2 spaces needs their car keyed so that they no longer will have to worry about thier scratched paint and can start parking normal.

Why do so many people always assume everyone driving an older car, or a sensible, reliable econobox, is "envious" of others who drive nicer, newer cars? Diffierent people have have different priorities. One of my priorities is to not piss money away unnecessarily on big-ticket consumables such as fancy cars during a period in my life when I still don't even own my own place to live, let alone any sort of nest-egg so I can one day retire in comfort, instead of destitute and depressed, barely scraping by on an insufficient SS check, living in public housing. I look ahead--there are more important things to think about than envying someone else's high-rollin' ride.

Here's one advantage to keeping 1/4 ton of TNT in your trunk:

It really bugs me when people are too lazy to park within the lines, especially when the parking lot is full.

I really enjoy blowing up the offender's vehicle that he can't find his driver side door.

Want to bang my car trying to open your door? Have fun!

edit for clarification: I'm talking about parking my car WITHIN THE LINES and not encroaching on someone else's space to box them in.

Exactly! You're on the right track.

I guess we do need some fools though to buy the new cars and take the huge depreciation hit for driving it out of the showroom so we can buy them used for a song!

Yo! One fool's two-year old Mazda Protege "trash" (~$16,000 new) is this man's $9500 treasure. Oh, and I've been making double payments--If I chose (or lost my job or something), I don't need to make my next payment until October!
