The proper thing to do if you see somebody parked like.... over 3 spots diagonally is to jack their car up. Slide some of those adjustable support things under there while it's jacked up, and lower the car so that the wheels do touch the ground, but the bulk of the car's weight it resting on the jacks. Make it nice and inconspicuous. You may want to buy your jack stands in bulk.

If you see multiple bad parkers next to each other, bonus points for chaining cars together by the axle. Multiply score by 1000 for each additional car over 2.

No more of an asshole than the guy that takes up multiple parking spots.

hmm ok... so by your logic if u insult me it is ok for me to kill you??

its two different things.. why do u have to create a bigger problem and key another person's car?

the other person might be in a hurry, so he didnt pay attention on how he parked.. or also the other car next to him also parked crooked, so he didnt really pay attention to the lines..

Way to misjudge my logic. They park their cars that way as an inconveinance to others in order to "protect" their cars. If they are so anal about it, they can either not drive the car or park farther away in the lot where nobody has parked. Instead they take up multiple spaces to prevent others from having parking. So by showing them that their logic does not work, others will be able to park easier in the lot.

Why because I parked within the lines of a parking space and they didn't?
Whats confusing about my post?
I know a ton of people who would be SERIOUSLY pissed if you parked so that they couldn't get in their car, even if its initially their fault.

Just think about the consequences of your actions a little bit... it may be funny to piss off people who suck, but if you piss off the wrong guy you could pay for it bigtime.

Someone's going to attack you because you parked within the lines of a parking space, but you were too close to their car because they parked improperly?

I suppose it could happen, but then again random attacks happen too.

There are a lot of crazies out there.

oh you are talking about people who intentionally take up 2 spaces to protect their cars.. Yes I agree they are dumbasses, but still keying these cars is just stupid.. you dont gain anything but it potentially create 1000x times more problems

just leave them be. or point out to the owner of the parking spot so that they get ticketed or towed for illegal parking.. its much better that way

You mean the guy that parks like that in the back of the parking lot so the asshat in the 83' sunfire can park next to him and leave a massive ding in his new M3?

I've often wished I had like a $500 car that I could just use to inflict damage to others cars after they pull some crap... i mean. i don't think i'd actually do it... but sometimes i get really annoyed with people who park close, etc.

Ever seen the new, expensive car taking up two parking spaces out towards the edge of a parking lot where there are no other cars? Every time I see that, I have an urge to park right next to them at the same angle. I've never done it, but I always want to.

As far as parking close to someone that can't park between the lines, I see no problem with it as long as you are in the middle of your spot. If they parked like that because the car they parked next to was over the line, then that doesn't get them off the hook. They could have found another spot and parked correctly. If someone is standing between the urinals doing there business on the bathroom wall, do you go on the wall between the next two urinals?

Thats a cuda or it's sister and I would love to have that car.

I went to Lowes a few months ago and some smuck had parked his truck taking up four spots and I am sure he worked there. A bunch of his friends, I assume :), parked their trucks around it completely blocking it in. You couldn't get in either door go forward or back up.

My 89 caravan turbo is my $800 beater and I love it. I don't do crap like that very often but its nice not to have to worry about door dings and theifs all the time.

Keying a car is grounds for getting your fscking fingers broke.

Some jackass put a 4' keymark along the drivers side of the Jag S-Type I was renting a couple weeks ago when I was parked in a mall parking lot. :|

LOL. Oh my I wasn't expecting that.

Some one parked illegally next to my car once (I was on the last spot on the end, they parked next to me...was NOT a spot they were in) because it was illegal they parked so close that I couldn't get in...after crawling over the stick shift I just rolled the window down and hawked a luggie on their passenger window. Which is better than I should have done!

Me too, heh. OK but now back to the subject. Personally, I would never do any harm to another person's car, ever, regardless of what kind of crap they're pulling, for example, taking up 2 spaces in the middle of nowhere. Is he bothering anyone? No. So why F w/ his car? My car has been vandalized in front of my girlfriend's house, and I seriously wanted to (and still want to) hunt down the person who did it. I did absolutely nothing wrong...

Personally, I try to park in corners and hug the curb, but if there's no spots like that available, I will just find a spot where there's ample room on both sides, or just all the way in the back where nobody can give me any dings. I definitely avoid parking next to SUVs & Minivans because of the risk of soccer moms or her children swinging doors about wildly.

I do the same thing. Some neardead parks over the line and leaves me just enough space to park next to her and I'll do it. I don't give a crap if she bangs my door trying to squeeze in her car. It's worth it just for the laugh and to teach her a lesson.

whats funny is whenever i see a car taking up two parking spaces its never the nice new BMW or such. its always some kid in a ricer.

But yeah i always want to park in front of them and have someone park on the other side so they cant get out. Until my daughter was born i always drove junkers. If someone hits the thing it wont be noticeable in all the other dents etc.

a little OT but when i was 17 i owned a 1980 Honda accord. it was really rusty and just a pile of junk. Anyway some A-hole in a nice new Lexus rear ended me. It did NO damage to my car. well there was a pile of rust sitting on the road. But after that my car ran soo much better. granted it was louder but it ran great! heh the guy gave me a check for i think $500 (might have been more. i cant remember) to fix my car. heh i paid $25 for it so i made a good profit!

That "pile of rust " was the exhaust system.

My parents say I should buy a new car, because of 0% financing blah, blah, blah...but my current crappy 99 dodge neon is gonna get driven into the ground. An old car is liberating because who really gives a fvck what happens to it? They aren't quite as reliable, but hell most cars aren't very reliable nowadays so I might as well save on the insurance and initial cost.

The only thing I hate is huge SUV owners who park in "Compact Car" spaces. Even if they're between the lines (which is usually a physical impossibility, anyways), they screw over the two cars on either side of them regardless.

Happens all the time here at UGA. Bah.

Happens at my work too...I'm not sure how they convince themselves that a Ford Explorer is a compact car. There's usually this like 3/4 of a space left that maybe a moped could fit in. WTF?
