I had this happen many years ago. The little bastard was pecking on a flashing around a drain vent pipe. I thought it would be funny to rattle the pipe by putting a hex key (allen wrench) in an electric drill to give him a taste of his own medicine. That turned out to be a mistake as it made him peck MORE! Yes it does sound like a jackhammer!
