Both liberals and conservatives are less likely to trust science when results are out of sync with their ideology.
Except that liberal ideology coincidentally happens to be more in line with scienctific theories than conservative ideology. Explain that however you want, but the fact is that conservatives distrust/disagree with science far more than liberals do.

Fantastic. 57% of Republican Primary voters support violating the First Amendment. Only 30% are sure they don't want to violate it.

Of course, those 57% are also the ones that are probably pro-2nd Amendment, and are also supporters of following the Constitution and having a small government. LOL

In other words, logical thinking isn't their strong suit.

So just to be clear, are you advocating for total disarmament and a large rapidly growing federal government that does not adhere to the constitution? Is that logical?

No, he's saying that people who constantly talk about how they want to follow the Constitution when it comes to the 2nd amendment are also in favor of flagrantly violating the Constitution when it comes to the 1st amendment. They claim to want to follow the Constitution closely but then throw that principle out as soon as it's not convenient.

ie: they are full of shit. They only support the Constitution so long as it serves as a means to enforce conservative ideology.

Thank you for proving garfield's point that logical thinking isn't their (or yours it seems) strong suit.
