Britney Spears reveals her unsightly 'elephant legs'

Britney Spears has served up a fresh reminder her perfectly perky pop star veneer is history.

The troubled star revealed her bulky cellulite-riddled legs as she stepped out in hot pink cut-off shorts for an outing in LA yesterday.

She reportedly visited a liposuction specialist last year in an effort to banish the dreaded dimples on her thighs, but yesterday it was startling obvious it had little effect.

Britney, who was joined by her mother Lynne, also unwisely abandoned her bra for the day, despite clearly needing the support.

Meanwhile, the 26-year-old has been ordered to pay ex-husband Kevin Federline $US375,000 to cover his legal fees in their ongoing child-custody dispute.

Federline's lead attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan was asking for nearly a half-million dollars.

Commissioner Scott Gordon issued the order Monday in response to arguments presented last week.

Britney's attorney Stacy Phillips argues that Kaplan was overbilling and that Federline can pay his own legal bills, but Gordon says that the star's actions led to a great majority of the litigation and delays in the case.

Federline has full custody of the two little boys Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, 17 months.

Britney spent time with the children over the weekend, under the watchful eye of her father.

The singer was also seen meeting film star Mel Gibson for dinner at the Romanov restaurant in Studio City, Los Angeles on Saturday.

she's probably still thinner than your average woman, but maintaining a body like Britney had in her prime is like a full-time job in itself... clearly, if she had the kind of focus and motivation to keep at it, she'd have the focus to not have let the rest of her life go down in shambles.

she probably just stopped caring and is surrounded by codependent yes-men.

I'm wondering how this girl's finances are able to hold up? She's leaking money left and right, and hasn't made a hit in years---how is she making any income?
 
Madonna looks better than her at twice the age - actually I can think of lots of actresses that are more than 15years older and look much better

IIRC, the net worth figure that was thrown around during the K-Fed divorce was $100M. While it's not IMPOSSIBLE to lose that much money in a few years, it is difficult. Unless she put it all in Bear Stearns stock...
